Many thanks Dino - pop into Ellis Park for a beer sometime!!

Picks this weekend

Mosgiel 2 - 0 Northern

Roslyn 1 - 0 Varsity

GI 2 - 0 Grants Braes

Cavvy 1 - 0 Tech

Old boys 1 - Qtown 0

Someone put the washing on - clean sheets all round!

Looking forward to dishing out a hiding tomorrow. Would be better for Braes to default and only take a 3-0 loss.

GI will finish 4th at best this season, previously a nothing club still a nothing club. Good club for players

slightly above fletcher cup level who want to get a taste of spl.

Good that you are realistic

Green Onion has his head stuck in the swamp,  Wake up and smell the coffee son.

Rumours I'm hearing are the FB Stadium is up for grabs to host an SPL match on 18th and 25th May...will be interesting to see who gets plucked out of the "random draw" which will apparently take place.

Will probably be a similar process to the dodgy chatham cup draws of the past couple years....I recall one when the live draw was leaked before the "draw" had actually taken place....classic stuff!!

Tech 2-2 Cavey. 2 very good Cavey goals, very late Tech equaliser.

Northern 0-2 Mosgiel. Both goals in last 10. First a Morgan header, second a Phil Kelly one-on-one.

Braes 0-7 GI

Uni 2-3 Roslyn 3

NEIGHHHHHHHH!!! Get up Roslyn!!

Permalink Permalink

Good to see you back on the paddock today Neighmar.

Thought Roslyn were good for their 3 points, though Uni gave a good push and could have taken a point away.

Mosgiel eventually got the better of Northern, who were about as ordinary as they come
Just imagine how many headers Morgan Day would score if he had Bekkers height, the guy is unreal!

Nothern vs th banjos was a dreadful affair, northern looked the better side. Very unlucky to lose, they couldn't score in a brothel with a pocket full of diamonds. Roslyn vs varsity was a genuinely good game. Varsity looked good for 60 minutes, but let their gaurd down and the horsies made them pay, good entertainment. Few idiots from varsity in the stands mouthing off most the game, but you only sing when you're winning, and at 90minutes you weren't the ones singing.

Confirmed sighting of cavy talisman Craig 'Fergy' Ferguson at the casino just now. I see a few pink chips floating around. Go big or go home, classic cavy approach!!

A little birdie told me that Green Onion comes from deep within the Roslyn camp

Some say the one and only green onion is none other than my mate Logan Moffit a strong gi 3rd team striker.

Chatham Cup this week - and a week off for big dogs Cavvy & Tech

Predictions GI vs Roslyn at Ellis Park next weekend? Should be interesting, not many teams come away with points from the Fortress..

Will be nice to welcome back coach and staunch Roslyn Wakari supporter Rory Crow into the clubrooms. Rumours are he may even be on the team card next week looking to add to his Ellis Park goal tally

Also for those looking for some free sideline entertainment this weekend, head down to bayfield park at 2pm

Yellowfevers one and only "horseshead21" has bravely vowed to skull a full vessel for every goal that Roslyn puts past Melchester in the cup

Good luck son!!

I think yellowfever banned him mate, they must have thought he was providing an illegal bookmaking service......either that or he's broke from Green Onion putting thousands on GI evey week

You could say that with the amount of chances they have had they should really have been on more ;-)

Did big Joh play for braes on saturday? He seems to have his discipline under control this year?

Costing me a fortune with bet365 each week

Permalink Permalink

Rumours are that Big Joe (Joh) has been told that if he gets more then 2 yellows that he will no longer be able to play in the SPL.

What odds for 10+ for Roslyn against Melchester this weekend

Permalink Permalink

Melchester is a joke really although they are a very experienced side.. Could that be the key to upsetting the train?

So team of the week when you have seen how many games on Saturday?

Played one and watched another maybe or maybe you don't play any football and could watch two full games at Cally.

Be interested to know what stats you use to make picks.
