Not all the Yoof listed...
Rowe and Biss situation confused by Nix at the weekend. Basalaj probably won't transfer until after U19's and Bertsch probably needs international stuff. Wonder why Tom Doyle not there, is he under 19?

Young German lad played well all year for Lower Hutt and has stepped into one of the Nix academy slots.

Heard on the pod about the Manurewa guys, Rewa are hardly standouts so I'm a little surprised that Wellington have had to call on them, the 2 Danes came out about halfway through the season, only remember seeing Viborg/Peferson/whateverhisnameis, looked quite good, scored in the game I was watching.
The other Dane might be the classic 2 for 1 deal that seems to be going on a lot these days, but I guess we'll have to wait and see whether he's up to it.
out of interest, how was mark atkinson? i hear he's still a regular feature for rewa at the tender age of 73
Fixtures now up on the TW website: http://www.tw.org.nz/fixtures/

So how is he going to chase Tade, Exposito, Krishna who have gallons of pace....
Grumpy old bastard alert
So how is he going to chase Tade, Exposito, Krishna who have gallons of pace....
Maybe he could ask the no longer so quick Ryan Nelsen. Have a quick, fit, younger guy next to you is a good option. But also be so smart and so experienced that you control the space and see what's coming streets ahead. This is what good, old centre backs can do - they don't need to be that fast - they will never be exposed one on one if they are good enough. Atkinson still has the smarts I think. Does he have the desire at the national league level? That is the $64,000 question for me.
Huh? Did anyone mention Atkinson for Wellington? Just thought reg22 was asking out of interest as I said I watched a couple Rewa games. Slight off topic diversion
sorry guys, just checking on how atkinson was these days since n-bomb had seem damgaard and viborg play
Talk is he is taking the summer up. But have heard rumours of a possible move to Manuwatu.
I heard he was taking a break but how long he takes could change.

TW played the Nix reserves David Farrington last night. Ended in 2 all draw. Some interesting players I have not seen on the pitch in a game situation. Still interesting to see final TW team when Academy players come in. Next game is 2pm Sunday v Hawkes Bay at DF.

I know this is petty, but can a mod go into the database and put the missing G from Wellington in the topic name?
To many Stein Ekens again.

Exodus Team Wellington will host Hawkes Bay United this Sunday at David Farrington Park as both sides look to fine tune team performances ahead of the 2012/13 ASB Premiership kicking off next Sunday. For Team Wellington, preparations have ramped up over the last fortnight following a somewhat disrupted pre season and the signs were positive following an inter squad hit out on Tuesday night.
Head coach Matt Calcott said, "We have now got the FSE lads in on a more regular basis and with the likes of Cory and Adam in town now and working hard we are starting to see some good intensity coming out in the training sessions."
Sunday's fixture with Hawkes Bay United will be the last chance the players have to impress Calcott in a competitive match and stake their claims for a spot in the travelling squad for away fixture with Waitakere United on Sunday 4th November. That Round 1 fixture serves as a repeat of last seasons ASB Premiership Grand Final and a trip to West Auckland always proves a stern test.
Calcott said, "If you had the chance to pick your first game you probably wouldn't choose Waitakere away but that being said we have to play them sometime so why not first up. Sunday's game with Hawkes Bay will give us the chance to look at a few options and get a good hit out ahead of next week."
If you are looking for a football fix in Wellington this weekend with the Phoenix away to Adelaide then pop along to David Farrington Park at 2pm on Sunday and get a look at your Exodus Team Wellington squad as it warms up for the 2012/13 ASB Premiership.
Elsewhere around the country, Auckland City and Waitakere United square off at Fred Taylor Park this Sunday at 2pm in the ASB Charity Cup, a fixture which opens the curtain on a new ASB Premiership summer of football.

3-1 Hawkes Bay. Matty C used the full squad. Looked better 2nd half,
Otago United vs Team Welly, Prem and Youth, same time, same day, same town.
Surely these should be a double header at the same venue.
