Opening game Gulley was superb against City as well. CLose to, if not the best on the park.

SU GK made a great stop right on half time but should have made an easy catch for the 3rd goal. TW defended well. Cracking strike for the first goal too

Strange not to see Gulley start, although IMO Murphy played really well. I think Peverly is probably better at the back.

The English winger looks pretty sharp too. Should have scored a lot more though

just wondering if team wellington ever played away from their home field ? would they ever come up and play in kapiti , upper hutt , etc  etc

They have played in Porirua and possibly Petone.

I wanna ask them to come play in kapiti who should I ask ? any links?

Think the lack of a decent field up there would be an issue. Plus transport for the visiting side.

well the nix had a pre season up here so I thought it could be a go also it is only a 35 minute drive from welly

And it might pull in a larger crowd - novelty factor (could take games to Upper Hutt, Wainui, Kapiti, K-Town) .

The harsh reality is the playing surface and changing rooms are nowhere near up to National League standard. I was very surprised to hear NZF approved the venue

TW seem to be improving. Can they turn it around and win it?

Two wins in a row after the toughest of starts....think they have already turned it around.

So is the feeling down your way that TW can seriously challenge for a top two spot and possibly an O League place? Don't think Waitakere are as potent as they were last season.

Good question.....I hope so, but after watching TW vs Auckland it does seem there is a pretty big gap there. Reports said we could have scored numerous times vs Waitak so maybe. I think we are short a potent striker too.

They may have preferred that to getting spanked :)
