Haven't seen much of Wellington this season, how's Tom Jackson been? According to Transfermarkt he's got the highest value in the Handy (£360k), more than De Vries and co.

I would read nothing into that as it's an amateur competition so they would take any professional gig without needing to be bought...

Thanks to Lautoka FC and Fiji Football Associationfor the invitation to play. It’s been a great few days and crucial for our 2017/2018 campaign.

TeeDubs 0      Southern 0  - Have not watched a better defensively organised team than Southern at DF Park this season.

The off the line saves from their defence was hard to take :-(

TW do seem to lack the killer instinct. Bring back Harris?

having Bevin & Jackson out injured isn't helping them

Fenton and Stevens need to learn new tricks that defenders don’t know.

This is a Team Wellington thread. If you want to troll about the nix on a Nix Supporters forum, do it elsewhere.

Whats the story with Tom Jackson, has he left? See has been missing the last few weeks... Or maybe just not starting?

final warning Bethnalblue for trolling, and going off topic.

Trolling about the nix on a Nix supporters website is about the lamest thing I can think of. Not only that, but you’re doing it in a thread for Team Wellington. Just stop.

injured

Wedding - His

But TW - do miss his hustle and pressure on Defenders and Keeper as they try playing out from the back. (Has netted him a few goals)

Ah, that would seem logical and explains things. When do they get him back?

Looks like Fenton has left to start his stint at Melbourne Knights and Stevens is off for trials in Sweden.

Tom Jackson has been out with  an ankle niggle this side of Christmas. Doesn't sound serious, more a case of not wanting to risk him while A, Fenton/Stevens were still here; B, there's bigger games to come (OCL)

Ouch - if Stevens goes that will be a big loss. Hope he does well in his trial though. If TW's can act as a pathway then all for it!

I wonder if Tee Dubs will try and get some of the Wee Nix boys on loan? Wood, Whyte even maybe someone like McGarry or Rogerson? Certainly with the O League coming up...

Why would the WeeNix be okay with this?

Well Whyte and Wood must be nearing either being released like JHS previously, or signed which I would see unlikely. Dunno, with the other two it may be worth seeing them play at the top of the national league to see how they play with a bit more pressure, better players around them.

Whyte I believe is a year 13 at school in 2018, so far from being released. Sinclair chose to go pursue the South Africa opportunity, afaik - could have easily played the 17-18 season for the WeeNix.
