This is very humble of you - still got the squad and coach to beat up in AC IMHO.

There was some chatter about a possible move of Cameron Howeison to the Capital. Does anyone know if TW is in the frame to offer Howeison something?

Be a generous bloody team that cut players in on a share of something that was won before they arrived ;). Maybe Team Welly might be more keen to help cover his transport costs than other teams.

The SS premiership has become a big drain. 2 years ago I asked why some player were not involved (After not picked comments on here) Response was a lot of player would not commit to 3 training sessions a week plus the game. Then personal time at the gym to lift teams to a level to compete with ACFC.  I think some CL teams are now at 2 minimum to 3  training sessions a week plus gym time.  It is a big ask for amateur players.

During all the speculation I though CH would be heading for the Phoenix. Great signing for TW & will probably use it as a springboard to the Phoenix, if he goes well. Saw on Twitter they might be getting some replica shirts out there this season. Hope they do my size!!! Hahaha! FB size!

This is a great point. Trying to move from TW to the Phoenix. Fenton would be an example of this. However, how often does Ernie get a chance to see TW in action? Or does he rely on sage advice? Playing at the stadium before each Phoenix match would help individuals but maybe nullify home ground advantage - an interesting path to negotiate for amateur players.

TW plays Nix 2nd game of SS premiership at DF park. Ernie is generally there or if not Chris Greenacre is at Nix youth game that don't clash.

Moretti is a RB & CB.

Good signing on paper...playing for Newell's in Argentina is pretty good going, albeit only a handful of appearances.

Another interview on Twitter just popped up. The new lad from Auckland - Zambrano. Don't know an awful lot about him. Apparently bagged 20 goals for Central United last season.

Anybody from Auckland know much more?

Still a bit of a lightweight IMO. Think he'll get battered in this league.
