I only went a couple of times last season & enjoyed it. What sort of crowds would you expect to see up there on average? Seems quite low when I went.

I hope it is different but last season was typical of the last few seasons.

The big games are TW v Nix TW v NCR  TW v ACFC - One of these has been a YF day for the last 2 years and boosts the crowd to approx 400

I hope they can get crowds on the up, but guessing it's not an easy task. Any reasons for the low turnouts? Apparently the club had a friendly today Seniors Vs. Youth. No clue what the score was, but expecting a Senior win.

I heard mention by a Tasman fan that their home matches were free vs around $10 for adults at TW.  If the money was supporting the club with running costs player development .... I think most are happy to pay? Could be a good selling point like $2 of each nix membership goes to a scholarship.  I wonder if gold coin would get more families thru the gate? Or TW membership? Phoenix did well in Kapiti with family gold coin idea - but they have a tradition and good publicity. What do others think?

Eastern Suburbs are charging $15 for casuals

I understand the need to encourage loyalty, but the majority of their potential capture will be on the fence so I thought casuals would be the most important potential audience

That's a bit steep IMO. Could be enough to turn me off going to their games tbh. What's admission at Kiwitea? $10?

Fuck this stupid game

$15, although I think it's $70 for a season ticket.

There's no way I would get my money's worth for a season pass for either team but $15 means I will limit it to the big games only (if the timing is right with other commitments and if it's not on TV) Likely to end up being 1 or two games for either side maximum but I guess you can't expect too much more from a neutral.

Fuck this stupid game

I think $10.00 is reasonable. For an afternoon out with mates it's pretty good value.

Yeah I think $10 is reasonable. $15 is sweet if you know it's going to be a good game but often enough it's not.

a gate charge for TW is probably a bit of a barrier knowing the tightness of the local football audience

Can't be many more spots up for grabs in the squad? What's the squad limit? Good on them for pushing the Twitter. It's good to be informed what's happening. Anybody know what their announcement is this week (Twitter post)? Another signing?

Tasman games are free, but only because the local clubs in the region put their heads together and decided to pay for the entry fees.

I'll be surprised this season if Tasman don't have the biggest crowds in the league.

Apparently an announcement is due tomorrow...according to their Twitter. Any ideas? Doubt it will be a signing, unless it's a massive one - they haven't made a big fuss over the Howieson signing, so unless it's bigger than that.

Hopefully something about Season Tickets & merchandise would be nice.

Hi Yellow Fever,

Thanks for all the support we've received on social media & at the games we've played so far.

This season we will be working with the guys here a little more closely to give you guys the best experience possible while watching Team Wellington.

I hope you can see the advertisement Yellow Fever have kindly put up for us & we welcome you all to David Farrington Park on Thursday 20th October to watch Team Wellington train. This is an open event where you can watch the team train, get some photos & autographs, pose any questions to the new coach in a Q&A & even have dinner with the team afterwards.

We will have some competitions running for the kids & there will be prizes on offer & best of all they can have a kick-a-bout on David Farrington Park. We will also have information on the season ahead of us, season tickets & replica merchandise.

This is a very exciting time for Team Wellington & the surrounding communities that contribute to the running & success of the franchise. We hope you will come & visit us on Thursday October 20th from 6:45pm. Everyone is welcome.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, or contact us on Twitter where we can answer your questions quickly.

Again, thank you for the support you give us.

(Apologies for the first post. We copied & pasted a Twitter post by accident.)
