If John Terry had scored that penalty than Avarm Grant would still be at Chelsea.

So is he any good? Don't really know managers of the premier league, I know that he managed Israel couple years back, thats about it.

Ahh yes, feels good, was worried when Dindane didn't make the penalty, but that finish was lovely.

Feeling slightly more optimistic with Grant in charge..

I am happy with him so far, but then, it has only been a few weeks. I guess we'll see with the next 2-3 matches to see how it goes for us.

Sad to see Linvoy leaving, but he is like mid 30's?

A crucial point, very good to see! Kaboul goal in injury time, very awesome. I need to see it, will have to wait a bit, seems like it was a rather soppy goal, but still a goal!

Just saw that we played during the week, though that was this weekend, bloody eyes.

2-1 against Chelsea at Stamford, heh, that would of been interesting for Grant. Not a terrible result, we scored, away, thats a plus. But the next at Fratton o Fratton, a win would be good.

I definitely think we're capable.

My lord, fantastic, this is fantastic! 2-0 against Liverpool. I think Grant is really starting to turn things around.

This is much deserved.

My lord, last 3 posts are me, very depressing.

Speculation that your Avram is interested in adelaides Eugene Galekovic with it looking like James is going out the door at the end of the season. For a suspected 3 million, but only speculation at this point.

Oh and Downey i know how you feel aye still think he deserved more for getting us to the Champions league final but i much prefer Carlo.

After the last results.. I don't know what to think anymore, if (when) we get relegated, I totally understand why. The inconsistency is just remarkable. Also the debt dump by HMRC is another kick in the ass.

Am happier as of late.. With the Carling cup that is. At least we ain't getting slapped like some of the bigger teams in the PL

1-1 draw with Coventry 1st match, then 2-1, winning goal in 121st min, with header from Mokoena, look solid, nothing amazing, thought the goal from Coventry was a beauty, nice turn and strike from Best, odd last name I thought, but pretty awesome.

God I hope we can win Carling Cup, be nice to have it again. And with the match against Birmingham coming up, I think we got some momentum coming in..

PLAY UP POMPEY, COME ON LADS!

unbeaten in 2010! went to the west ham game last night and it was pretty crap yet we battled for a point. now the embargo has been lifted we may get some players and give ourselves a half chance.

Just don't lose is the only motto i've been going into any game with heh.

Can't wait to watch it. Quincy should be playing. Be good to see what he can do, looks like he's done some impressive things from some youtube vids I've watched.

I don't think they are playing that badly, it's just they are missing one quality striker to put the ball in the net.

Really unfortunate times for the 2008 FA Cup winners.

Should be a few others heading up from London for the home section, so as long as the Pompey players can get that far north they should be alright.

Another take-over!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8497491.stm

Just browsing and saw this. Thought I woulda seen in broswing portsmouth-mad..

So it's just gonna be a short-term take-over till new owners come in, probably be end of next year.. The Saudi can't afford us with his debt.

Kinda wonder if we'll end up with more owners than points, as mentioned by some chap in the far reaches of the internet. haha

Its  quite sad.

Bloody legacy of Redknapp, wins a fA Cup at all cost and then we are bankrupt..
Not the first time or the last time. He is a self serving C**T.

(Rational hat would say its not his fault but I have to blame someone)
