My mate was bloody worried when he rocked up at hotspur, especially with what he did to us.

Wonder what state they'll be in once he buggers off.

Hello,

Harry and his former Portsmouth FC chairman, Milan Mandaric appeared in Westminster Magistrate's Court, facing charges of tax evasion earlier this year just pror to the World Cup in South Africa.

Harry and the Leicester owner, Mandaric were jointly accused of 2 charges of cheating the public revenue. As far as I am aware they were charged following an inquiry involving City of London Police and the government's Revenue and Customs department, and their case was adjourned, they were bailed until the 14th April, 2010. Their respective lawyers said both men would contest the charges.

I have yet to receive an update, and its been 5 months but when I do I shall certainly post it here.

As a Christchurch born now resident Wellingtonian, its nice to find that there are Portsmouth supporters' here...Great

Oh god yes, hope they catch the crafty bugger. He is such an arrogant f**k sometimes.

I'm not sure how many of us there is, like.. 3-4 including you. If you look through the thread, WellingtonPFC is in portsmouth I think atm, gets to go to the games. So thats pretty sweet, having someone over there coming on the forum haha.

Hi Azevo,

I'm just wrapped that I have found other Portsmouth supporters', I don't feel so out in the online wilderness now.

I have a great respect for the community and when Avram Grant and the boys' played their hearts out to the bitter end.

I am very much aware of Avram Grant getting the first team together and all digging deep into their pockets to pay TUG the Portsmouth FC Groundsman, his wages and a few of the other staff at the club. It shows the character of the man and the kindness shown to other human beings.

Though Avram Grant has not had an ideal start in his new job at West Ham..I hang in there with him and also he has our young Winston Reid with him too.

Cheers

Grant is just the man, absolute class and a bloody good bloke for what he did for the staff there. I wish he stayed with us, but that wasn't to be, obviously someone with his caliber was bound to move on.

Hope he does well with westham, am liking his choice with Reid, but I wonder how much game time he'll get in the end.

Your predictions on the season? I would love for us to bounce right back into EPL, but i just doubt that happening. Not best start to the season so far eh?

1 win in 6 matches just doesn't look good. I am thinking a mid table finish.

Draw with Ipswich this morning, streamed about 1/4 of it, then the stream died sadly.

Thought we held up alright against a team on a bit of a rampage at the moment. Ipswich as tipped to be in the play-offs as well. Hopefully we can do better against Crystal palace.

Oh dear, Crystal palace 4, pompey 1.. Not the result i was hoping for that. Crystal palace are suppose to be one of the more easy to beat teams this season for us.

God, can anyone tell me why this happened? I didn't see the match myself..

That is rather inspiring what they did for the club back then. What do you know of the new manager? I see he is pretty much championship league quality, not sure how he will do for us. He didn't last long at Stoke, not sure about Burnley.. I'm not sure at all.Azevo2010-09-16 19:15:12

alright chaps?

not the best start to the season granted but we will be ok i think. i have my season ticket again this season so can keep u updatted on how we're playing.

watching as many phoenix games as i can online buts its tough when we're 13hrs behind and i have to go to work!

It isn't a good start at all. Not inspiring at all at the moment eh? Wouldn't blame ya about phoenix games, but it's probably cheaper over there to stream stuff online than it is for us over here eh?

Not comfortable at the bottom of the table at the moment, but early days. I just hope we can stay in the championship this season, that is critical goal this season I think.

Hello, Yes Ricki Herbert is not a happy chappy. The boys were sluggish and flat in the first half-No fire at all. The second half they picked up the tempo and Tim Brown scored the Nix's 100th A-League goal. I am pleased that a Wellington boy scored it as well.

Other than that theres not too much else to say, except that I still love Portsmouth FC regardless.

Cheers

We don't need scum and villainy like that in the Pompey Ranks.

In other news,

Will Mandaric come back?

maybe the club is confident this guy is innocent, I alspo remmeber my dad calling him Mad mouth Mandaric for using a few curse words here and there.. Azevo2010-09-21 11:19:37

Oh god yes, that result is fantastic, finally out of the relegation zone, was only a matter of time I must say.

Though derby, preston and Bristol city still have games to play, I hope we can keep out of the relegation.

Buggered I couldn't watch it, but such as it is. Will check out the highlights.

play up Pompey!

What is the capacity for fratton park? I recall 14k in the stands? Either way, it is a damn old stadium.

some of the concepts were pretty interesting for the 'new' stadium they wanted to build back in 2008, 2007.

we were good, shouldnt be any problems this season on that evidence. 1st time in 2 years we have won back to back.

just hope we get it together and get the club sold so we can get out of administration and avoid a points deduction

More trouble for Portsmouth, as the administrator tightens the screws. At least they haven't been dealt to like Dundee. 9 players released and management at all levels made redundant.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

predicted takeover to be green-lighted in the next week. Lifting of transfer embargo ect. but its changes by the day.

Whats for definate tho was a great result against the golden boys, scored 3 crackers tho conceeded 2 really bad ones. However was amazing entertianment, the best game for an emotional rollercoaster at fratton for ages.

If u havent seen the goals they are well worth googling.

amusing for a bit but a right pain in the backside. thought she was a hero because she could drag up a few articles about pompey. Also thought she knew more than anyone else about PFC because she gets a news letter, even tho she didnt know milan mandric sold the club years ago. An interesting character thats for sure.
