Cool that Mourinho takes the League Cup reasonably seriously, pretty strong team out against Derby, through to the next round :)

It was a good game and Derby played quite well.

We didn't start so well last night. But we eventually took the upper hand. Good to see costa score again. Think our first goal was lucky. Defender got in the way of the keeper.

Quietest I think I've ever seen Hazard in a game yet.

Gotta feel for Willian, tonnes of pace, and great on the ball, but just can't find the net.

Really hoping City slip up against the Arse tomorrow

We do seem to have a tendency to collapse. 2nd time this season now

Agree. Short memory. Seem to remember them losing to the same side in the League Cup    :)

Hey Detoxin,  real off topic - but how do you watch your football in Japan? Both EPL and A-League. I'll be content streaming and stuff but if known of some sweet app / program you'd recommend I am all ears!

You coming to japan? Where? Lots of the prem league is on cable tv here. On sports. There are some supporters clubs for certain teams who watch games together too. For the a-league it is all streaming. Depending where you are there might be other fans to watch with. If close to the osaka area like the osaka supporters group on Facebook for more info

Sorry guys for the messages in your thread.

Thanks for the reply Detoxin. Have moved to Tokyo for the mean time - finding work etc and see how we like it here. I have another question for you - what's the deal with SIM cards over here? Is there absolutely no work around to get a prepaid SIM as a gaijin? Currently have a data only docomo SIM (so can't text, send or receive calls) and this expires after a month and then have to buy a new one. Seems a bit crazy - as far as you know is this right?

You can get a SIM card it's just hard. The companies want you to get a phone through them. I know AU does and I think Softbank does as well. I'm guessing your visa is only for a year? If longer or you have a Japanese insurance card you can just get a 2 year contract which I think works out cheaper. If need help feel free to mail email me as well. Been here for ages Mintyjo400. At hotmail. Good luck

What a boring game. Glad we got at least a draw... But that's what Chelsea were playing for the whole time. We were really under the pump for long periods

Finally the special one gets 3 points at villa. Thought we took our goals alright. Still unsure about our defense. But 7 points clear is great. Have to say it's great to see drogba playing for us again but does feel strange at the same time.

Cudrado looked promising. Cech was outstanding when required.

Cech was amazing and hazard to. Some of his runs are amazing. Rent was poor though.

Not like Chelsea fans to be racist.... oh wait, actually it is.

Three for me, and two for them.

Are people really going to point score over this? You guys support big clubs - some of your fans will be racist, some will be murderers and some will be rapists. Chelsea should not be held responsible over what a couple of idiots decided to do on a train in Paris. They should take actions against these people but it is not the club's fault that this happened.

Chelsea have a higher proportion though, and a track record of it.

Three for me, and two for them.

Hope those fans get banned for life. What idiots. We don't new then in the game.

John Terry has reacted angrily to the Chelsea fans singing the racist song.

"They were totally off-key", he said.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Anyone who has stood in the "Shed" will know this is typical behaviour. I saw it once when i went to the Bridge to watch them and Arsenal draw 1-1 in the 80's. Nothing new.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!

Typical Chelsea fans, they're always the nastiest and most awful visitors to the Arsenal.

this game was bull shark, should of had 2 pens for us and that loser should of been sent off first. the ref let them murder us with tackles punishment free for the whole game... matic deserved to be sent but if the ref had controlled the game it wouldnt have happened...

Thought this was funny from Mark Lawrenson on the BBC mbm v PSG.

"What an angry game played by angry men this has turned out to be. I feel sorry for the referee. It's like trying to herd cats."

That is appealing how they surrounded the red. Hope someone gets banned for it. Only way it will stop it happening

Funniest was Terry standing on Oscar's head in his rush to confront the referee.

Also loved Terry and Cahill wrestling each other while Silva was scoring the winner.

Will PSG appeal the red? They'd have a good case to get that overturned.

Read that they can only appeal if it's a case of mistaken identity and it's up to a panel to decide whether the suspension is 1 - 3 games.

Grumpy old bastard alert

He is a twit indeed but that is a pretty rubbish reason to get ruled out of their next tie(s)

He will now be thinking he shouldn't have pulled out, and shoulda just banjaxed him big time
