Funny, but would have liked it to continue forever and ever and ever. Part of me struggled to take a lot of the joy in their whole mess because we still couldn't beat them.

Sacked by the same club twice is a pretty special achievement.

Absolute joke. You don't get shot over night. Wrong decision in my eyes.

it does seem odd that they got rid now after having so much patience for the last couple of months. Probably too late for a new Manager to do too much about the situation now other than avoid relegation, which surely he would've done anyway.

(put my mourinho hatred aside to make that comment fyi!)

Hiddink? Should never have got cheeky to Dr Eva

We did beat them. And then we lost to them because of an incorrect red card x2.

Tradition and history.

Certainly one of the more poignant days since Chelsea were founded in 2003.

Three for me, and two for them.

Gonna be interesting now, because if the players were under performing for personal reasons, then they better step up now. But if they carry on as they have, then the Special One will be vindicated. I actually liked him. Despite the arrogance, he has a trophy cabinet second only to Fergusson, although in the Special One's case, he won his trophies at various clubs which makes for a better record.

I don't believe that makes for a better record at all. What Ferguson did was far more impressive, and far more difficult.

18 Dec 22:50
Are you really that jealous of the success Chelsea have had since 2003 buffon ? Or just ill informed? They were formed in 1905 The majority if not all (after this season the glory hunters have probably left) of fans are legitimate fans who love the club. Give it up

Jealous.

Nah not really. We've got 13 league titles, you only have 5. We also have the record amount of FA Cups. And we've gone a league season unbeaten, something you'll never manage.

Three for me, and two for them.

Proven by Mourinho himself, backing it up is even harder than doing it the first time.

So sorry I forgot when was the last time you won the league? Champions league? You won the fa cup, great job you must be so proud. And the invincibles were great and it probably won't be done again, but how many years of coming 4th will it take before you aim to win the title again?

We came 3rd last year. If you don't believe we are a genuine title challenger this season then there really is no point talking to you about football.

Three for me, and two for them.

19 Dec 06:42
You answered 1 question and not well at that. How bout the others. You are a contender at the moment but can you stay with the top teams? History would say no

What top teams do we have to contend with? United are wank, they won't get near the title with LVG's cancer football. City are an obvious favourite but they never run away with the title, both title wins they've had came from relying on late slip ups. You lot are fudgeed. Liverpool and Spurs aren't strong enough to compete for the title this season. Leicester don't count.

Also history shows we won't, despite being one of only four teams to have ever won multiple Premier League titles? You've really shown the intelligence of your typical Chelsea fan there, thick.

Three for me, and two for them.

So when did you last win the league? City are a better team and will take it out I agree about United though.

Think you will find that Chelsea have won the EPL more times than Arsenal.

Just saying. A typical Woolwich reply- bag every other team, players and managers. Can't see the wood for the trees.

Also have a look at their European success.

Backing up titles is difficult and rare.

Ferguson did it often, always managing to stay at the top as he moved through player generations.

Looking at the table. And the fact United are falling over and surely Leicester can't keep it up, the top 4 is still very achievable. But last night pisses me off a bit, where was that before? Was it because t was Sunderland?

I reckon Chelsea should go after Chris Ramsey as a new manager. Thoroughly recommend him.

Can't believe we are making him go somewhere else. Something is wrong when legends like terry and lampard have to go abroad....

To me it sounds like him+his agent played their hand too aggressively and demanded an answer without giving sufficient time. Then said that the clubs answer wasn't good enough and made a decision. And with his one man your of China being so successful/profitable I'm sure that's where he is heading. Still you do like your legends to stay at your clubs...

how did Costa break his nose?

Pretty much everyone who comes into contact with him for any purpose would want to punch him in the face. Presumably someone actually did.
