So fabregas aye. Great player but not sure if what we need

The club is going through big changes. Getting rid of lampard and now cole. And unsure about a few others.

$50milliom for Luiz and $8 million for ba. Laughing all the way to the bank.

Cant believe we sold Lukaku... He was the future... I thought he deserved to start this year even with Costa, Costa is also a bit unproven in the prem league so am a little worried

suprised to see Cortois given the nod over Cech this early on.

Costa and Fibreglass looked really good.

Rumour floating around that AS Roma are looking to sling a bit of cash and striker Mattia Destro our way for Torres. 

A good win over a team that have it there all. It's games like that we would of drawn last year. Ivanovic was amazing last night. Just everywhere

G/keeper saved Chelsea more than once. Defence was average but as an attacking side-- you were frightening.

Yep remy is a good player.  not sure how useful Drogba will be though. he looked half assed in the last game i seen him play.

Yeah well he is 36, will be great in mentoring Costa and Remy + the academy players.  

He'll still be useful in the FA Cup and Capital One Cup

Wow just wow. Fabregas and costa together are boss. Had them in my fantasy team as well luckily. Still worried about our defense. But I think it's safe to say our striker woes are over

Fabregas has to be the buy of the summer so far. He is running games like he owns them. And then you have costa popping up to punish teams.

a draw today which will be disappointing, we played great and should of had a few more goals. especially in the first half.  Hazard was great at beating defenders and that pass for the goal was amazing. however he lost the ball a few times round the box when he could of passed, was getting teamed up on 4-1 sometimes 

Not sure what happened to Ivanovic for the Schalke goal, they had tonnes of room.  

Thought Hazard, Fabregas and Willian played really well, and Cortois made a fantastic diving save. 

Drogba missed a couple chances he would have demolished in years gone by, still held the ball up well once or twice.

What did you think about Luis starting ahead of Azpilicueta?

Yea Drogba looked lots better than when he last played though. Luis was good i think, much better in the attacking 3rd but maybe not as good defensively.  maybe play him depending on the opposition .

Costa is set to start which is great news

never thought I'd ever see Lamps score against us.

Good to see him applaud the Chelsea supporters after the match.

Yea that hurt a little, still was really good to see the fans support him

Must be one of Hazard's best games for us so far.

I hope Cortois' knock wasn't too serious, we're safe as with Cech in goal for the meanwhile

and yea whenever i see a keeper get hurt it brings back memories of Cech and terry having to play in goal

nice to see Drogba off the mark. but we could be in trouble for united. Remy and Costa look like they are both out injured.

I don't think I've ever heard of Costa being fully fit. Seems like every week he's supposed to be 50-50 then he always plays.

This time Jose said he is out. but it is United and it is Jose so it could all be mind games.

At least the AF haters can't blame him. :)

So, Costa may need an operation..   maybe it would be good to get it out of the way before the fixtures come thick and fast around christmas.

another win, we looked vulnerable on the counter. but a win is a win. Costa was a bit rusty. don't know if i want united or city to win tonight..  its funny watching  united lose but city is a bigger threat to the title
