According to the commentators last night, a pre-match talk revealed that Phil Brown stated "Talks of Michaael Turner leaving are premature"!
That was a pathetic performance last night - no excuses about the humidity. We had absolutely NOTHING in the final third and next to nothing in the middle. No direction. The Griffiths brothers performed better.
No wonder we can't get anyone to join us.

Perhaps that's cos Levy had only offered Chimbonda at that point! Now some cash has been added, it may be the sweetener required?

apparently, we'll start listening at 12 mill
 
so that's the exchange rate for 30 peices of silver in today's money
 
if we let Turner go, i think we might just be throwing in the towel
 
but hell, this window has been useless for us so far, so maybe it can't get worse ????

Hopefully Altidore can do well. Dempsey has done reasonably well in EPL so hopefully he can too.

Tony Pulis full of praise for Olofinjana by expounding on what a wonderful bloke and player he is after selling him to Hull for 3 million quid. Freely translated this means that he was bloody useless and we were glad to get rid of him especially at such a ridiculous price.
Altidore is totally unproven at this level of football but is showing promise with the USA National team. It is to be hoped that he is the "Blow your Socks off" signing that Phil Brown has been on about for the past two months.

some good signs in  there for us
 
Hunt did well and makes a difference
 
Ghilas looks like he'll be good around the box
 
Turner and the Boat were immense
 
not convinced by the decision for chels equaliser
 
but they did have the wood on us for 'a bit' of that 2nd half
 
disappointed but not demoralised

v wolves - hunt and geo to cause probs out wide - Olofinjana to lift his head up and not get caught in possession v one of his old clubs

I certainly won't but it's only for three months.
Newcastle showing interest in Marvin Harewood so I think Cousin chances are very slim.
Dan Vinegar of Hessle Road (that's a main road in Hull) will now shoulder the responsibility of leading the attack but he has the same strike rate at Celtic as cousins had at Rangers so I am not expecting too much. Altidore is far from ready for this level of football but could serve as an 'impact' striker sub.
