Look, I've sat through the squad rotations, playing Stevie out wide, questionable (read F*CKING STUPID) transfers, mouthing off at press cons, facts, boardroom spats, bizzare substitutions, draws against minnows, losses against minnows, Lucas, and all the other bullsh!t for years, and I'm getting a little tired of it now.
Forgive me for being a little frustrated and for my loss of faith in the manager who now has us on the brink of oblivion. For all the great things Rafa has done for us he's right royally f*cked us up the arse this year.

Nino, i ask you this. If i was to take over Perennial strugglers Liverpool as manager tomorrow, enjoy a potential honeymoon period at the beginning of my tenure, before being exposed as the poor manager i am but continuing to make baffling tactical decisions, often going against the wishes of the captain, continuing to believe we are playing good football when this clearly isn't the case and finally, making remarkably poor transactions in the transfer market, would you still have respect for me?
Three for me, and two for them.

I don't mean I respect his decisions, I mean I respect him as a man. As the good man he is, if not a good manager. So yeah, I'd respect you, if not your decisions.

I think the biggest thing this season is the amount other teams spent and the talent they've acquired to give you guys "the top 4" a real go, it's making for a great season.Sorry it's not working out that well this season, pull your socks up and try harder. It wasn't Rafa's fault Ridgwell was left completely unmarked on the back post it was you're back 4's fault, they didn't do their job.

agree with giddy, quite simply the back 4 did not do there job. It must fustrate the bejesus out of mgr's that work all week on the training pitch for these type of situations and when it happens during the game everyone switches off. But it's too late by then goal conceded! so many teams don't / can't play the way that they train. Rewatch the goal everyone was ball watching and johnson got pulled past the post tracking his man when he should have passed him on and been aware of the other threats. But you very rarely see a manager go nuts about the part of the team that didn't preform on the day. In the public eye the players are never held as accountable as the should be. robags2010-04-07 22:34:11

Agreed, more or less.

Torres returns to his previous home stadium! Anfield is a fortress huh?! BBC were saying that Benfica were unbeaten in their previous 27 games!
It wasn't much of a fortress when we visited. I think you'll have enough for Atleti though. The other semi is more interesting for mine. Reckon Hamburg could do it though.
I expect Perennial strugglers Liverpool-Hamburg final.

Aston Villa, Arsenal, Fiorentina, Lyon and Reading disagree.

Ahh the Arsenal fans and all there knowledge.
Still I'm happy that we won...It used to be that the winner of the Uefa cup made it into the Champs league? Does that still happen?
