Liverpool Thread - Premier League Champions* 2019/20 (Part 2)
We need to put things into perspective though...we're disappointed with a draw against United...2 years ago we would have almost taken that as a win!
- 3 points from Arsenal, Leicester, Chelsea and Swanse
- 1 point from Spurs and United
- Solitary loss (albeit to Burnley)
- Played our away games to Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs
- Sitting 4th, two points behind City and 3 ahead of United with games against WBA, Palace, Watford and Southampton coming up.

Once upon a time, "We (QPR) used to be good......Found this gem quite by accident. Loved the crowd, the atmosphere and the players from both teams were excellent - except for Hooper in your goal. He should have saved 2 of them.
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
It gets better - knocked spuds out of League Cup - had it not been for Vorm, that game could have been 6 - 1. Great showing from a team dotted with young players and I thought Moreno played quite well and showed signs of finally listening to some coaching!

Yup, when you look at our team, you could be concerned at a lack of a 20+ goal a season striker but when you can get 7 or 8 goals out of about 6 or 7 different players, it works out quite well.

I'm gutted that I can't make this tomorrow night but hope some of you can, whether you're an LFC fan, a football fan or take an interest in how the injustice of Hillsborough played out, this will be well worth making the journey along and entry is free.

It is great that the pool have found their scoring boots and are playing well, but there is something about the way they defend that makes me think that sometime this season there will be a 6-1 in the opposite direction.
Klopp is definitely starting to get his mogo on. its good to see and good for the league

Phew! Thanks for answering the cry for help - the air is thin up here.
The defending is always a worry and sometimes it's hard to pinpoint where the problems are happening. Lovren is still prone to a mistake, Milner is making a good fist of LB but it's not a natural position for him and both keepers are still not great at controlling the players in front of them - just have to keep scoring more than we concede I guess - apparently that's the way, score more than the opposition.

I'm relishing the chance for the reverse of our fixture with Mustafi back in the fold. I think he would have been the difference against you guys.
But regardless; I'm absolutely loving the fact that there is a HUGE amount of competition within the EPL and that the Top 4 is split by 2 points, the top 8 split by 11 points.
Few injury concerns at the moment - Coutinho, Lallana and Firmino which could make for an interesting League Cup side this week. Origi took his change though, good on him and Lovren/Matip are making quite the pairing at CB.

A Poem.
My phone goes beep, beep.
Half awake. 3am. Awaiting the good news.
2-0 the message reads. The reds are ahead.
I should get up. Watch. Sleep is needed.
More beeping. More anticipation.
“They scored” the message reads. But fear not, Emre Can puts the demons to rest.
3 – 1.
Finally I sleep, assured of victory.
Sun rises, mood is good. Check my phone.
Fark I hate 2016.
