Tell ya what, you guys are entertaining as hell.

The highlights were a great watch last night.

I love how Klopp is smiling ear to ear when Salzburg get their second. It came at the end of a ridiculous end to end sequence where both teams nearly scored twice, and then Salzburg did score, an absolute cracker on the end of an amazing counter attack.

Perhaps I'm being naive but I honestly thought Klopp's smile was saying "football eh, how good is it". He actually seemed happy about them scoring because it was all just so damn entertaining.

We only ever say this before the season starts, once a ball has been kicked I reckon you couldn't find a group of fans more paranoid about jinxing it!

I've been repeatedly telling Ronniemac that you've got it sewn up, simply to rark him up. That's how ingrained this is in Liverpool fans, no one dares to say it!

I reckon you'll be lifting the trophy and some of you will be half expecting someone to snatch it away on the stage.

There's a good meme there somewhere, perhaps the seal stealing the fish out the guys hands on the boat, you know the one.

this is our year.  I have been saying this to my crew since well before we've had the massive lead, probably november ish.  in the past when we've been in it I've tried not to claim it early so as not to jinx it and it clearly hasn't worked.  I understand the silence on here but I'm going the other way.  This team is so good

Another win. 14 in a row or something.

Often wonder what Coutinho must think now. He was brilliant for Liverpool, left just when they were on the verge of being great.

Hilarious!
All 3 of my kids were born via cesarian and had the same anaesthetist each time, a spurs fan. He bantered constantly after he saw my arsenal tattoo. Actually made the whole thing pretty funny and enjoyable (for me!). Thankfully the kids were all born before spurs leapfrogged us in the league so it was easy to take the piss out of him.

Wasn't Milner's goal line clearance amazing, and show just how much he never gives up on anything.

And also a foul / red card on Fraser (by the keeper) who would have otherwise likely beaten Milner to the chip.

Second Point: Milner is winning that footrace any day of the week as the striker has slowed down to chip it while Milner has momentum. He doe

That's a few games in a row where Van Dijk tendency to not close down a player or make a challenge has been found out.

Liverpool are officially cursed.

Bambino levels.

As Ronniemac put it:

- So close in '09

- Slip in '14

- 1 point last year

- Virus this year

I feel for Liverpool fans.

Very uncertain if the Premier League will be completed now.

Word is that it will be at least three months before thy can consider scheduling matches again once Coronavirus has peaked in the UK:

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51876162

"No-one, certainly not me, knows how long the current situation will last for. I don't see matches being played until the coronavirus problem has passed its peak point, which the medical experts said yesterday could be between 10 and 14 weeks.

"Given the medical advice, I don't think anyone in football seriously expects the situation to have changed in three weeks and therefore the present situation is much more likely to be extended than lifted."

It doesn't help that the country is run by a literal muppet. They're one of the only countries in the world who have gone with this 'herd immunity' tactic, which is basically the equivalent of sending people to their death until the robot stops shooting.

Yes. I fear for the countries whose leaders are showing terrible leadership right now.

Hell even ScoMo is getting it vaguely right, it's not that hard, listen to the experts, track what's happening in countries ahead of you, and act accordingly.

I would not like to be in the UK, the US or Brazil right now.

Word in UK media is that the EPL will be cancelled and the title handed to Liverpool (with the agreement of the other clubs).

They are so far ahead this only seems just.

It's most likely they would have won it, although on current form they have lost 4 of their last 6 games, Adrian is in goal etc. Is it certain they would have won the rest of their games? They also have recent form in letting league titles slip, though of course not with a lead this large. If you award it based on current league positions then surely you also have to relegate Aston Villa who are in 19th, 2 points behind 16th and with a game in hand. And plenty of European positions still up for grabs too. Don't think you can award things with a quarter of the season still to go.

Feels wrong to award a champion but then not also relegate or promote. If the season can't restart then you either have to declare all current positions final and award titles, European spots and relegation/promotion, or declare it null and void.

The leaders of countries are obviously listening to their ' own ' experts who may have different opinions to others.

Climate change scientists around the world can't agree.

No, he is just happy that last month the US put on more than 200000 jobs.

So unfortunate for Liverpool that the one time were probably going to win the league, it's probably just going to get awarded to them without the season being finished and by many never regarded as a proper title.
