I hope they buy Balotelli. He will probably play bad then they can send him back to the right Milan where he's actually a fan of the club and then he can shine

DONE!

I actually think he can do well here at City. Just waiting for him to show up to a press interview in a United top now.

hows Silva and Kolarov been?
Permalink Permalink
over 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Kolarov got injured first half, first game. So joins fellow summer signing Boateng on the sidelines. Silva - nothing spectacular thus far although I expect it will take a few games for him and the team to gel. Super Mario and Milner should both make their City EPL debuts tomorrow v Liverpool.

Looking forward to that game very much. Predict 1-1. Tevez and N'Gog.

You choose the stakes (within reason), and we're away.

$20 or a bottle of wine sounds reasonable i think. If you drink wine i'll go with that, otherwise i'll leave it with the money.

Three for me, and two for them.

It pains me to say, but they should easily make the top 4.

i wouldnt say easily, hard to get that many players to gel quickly and keep up the good form over the course of a season.

will be an interesting watch none the less

They'll come close to the 4, but I think they'll finsih 5th this year, behind the usual suspects.....

So which are those 4 teams better than City in this season's Premiership?

Think Spurs will struggle to match (or better) their Premier League finish from last season. City squad compares pretty well with the other three.

Man City to get second place is my tip. Championship side Liverpool will struggle without Macherano (if he goes) , Christian Poulsen is just a Vince Grella type player, big tackles but not much else. All the players linked with Championship side Liverpool are just average British players, Carlton Cole for example. It'll only take one injury to Wayne Rooney or Darren Fletcher and that Man Utd team will just collapse. Far too many really young un-tried players behind the starting XI. Arsenal just need a really good keeper, Shay Given would do a great job, but will Mancini loan him out to a key rival? Tottenham just haven't recruited enough since last year.

To say that these two players make up Utd is pure garbage.

Mostly about the Man United comment. If anything the player we rely on at the moment is Paul Scholes. Fletcher and Rooney were pretty garbage on the weekend.

But then also about Man City getting second.

Sunderland really made my day.

Agree about Championship side Liverpool though, Cole and Konchesky are not good enough for a top team.
