What about Ryan Giggs' extramarital affair with Imogen Thomas, then obtaining a super-injunction to prevent it being reported?

I knew about that quite some time ago... wasn't exactly difficult to find gossip on that.

Also, I do not care. Hasn't exactly impacted him playing well, or winning trophies has it? Maybe some Arsenal players could try it.

Who is condoning it?
What about......RVP spending 2 weeks in jail in 2005 on a charge of rape(which was later proved untrue) but admitted have sex with a pole dancer while his wife was pregnant.
Who cares.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

First signing of the summer looks like Raphael Varane, from RC Lens.

Very talented young defender by all accounts. Will probably spend time on loan next year to get used to the English game.

I usually find this is the time of the year (the next 3 months) when I am the most impatient (and rack up the highest internet bill)!! Bring on the silly season!

Well Mirror Football are claiming to have an exclusive, that we have had a 16 million pound deal with Athletico for David De Gea, and that he has confirmed he is leaving Spain at the end of the season.

They even have a 'Top ten things about Manchester United's new signing:

Ryan Giggs - international laughing stock.  Who'd have thought?  There goes the Knighthood.

Giggs will be given another medal tonight.

I'm pretty sure he won't give a damn about anything else.

Ashley Young will cover two positions, as a second striker (much like the Rooney role) and can cover out wide too - be a great signing and with Cleverly and Welbeck back we're well sorted up front. I'd like to see money spent on Central mid and another Smalling plus Keeper obviously.

"concluding" a deal. Encouraging.

I suspect Mrs Giggs isn't giving much of a damn about his new piece of bling at the moment.  And that's the tragedy that someone who has had such an unparallelled career, admired by all fans, has blown it by not just having an affair in the first place BUT then making an international twit of himself.  I bet his Mrs is SO proud...

Sadly, I can't see him playing next week with all this going on.

Could have been worse - it's not like he shagged his team mates Mrs or shot someone - just saying.

It's all blowing up over here this afternoon. An MP named Giggs in parliament, now Sky, Guardian and others are reporting his name/photo directly. Others such as the BBC are holding off as no one seems to know for sure the legality of the situation.

Edit: BBC are too now.Arsenal2011-05-24 04:05:45

Manchester United win the FA Youth Cup taking out the second leg 4-1
The first leg was 2-2 in front of a 30,000 crowd at Bramell lane

Wonder if he says that in bed.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Totally agree PROAK. What he did was immoral, not illegal. Like Tiger Woods, it seems these guys get vilified by everyone for cheating but thugs like Rene Ranger and Declan O'Donnell get treated like heroes after beating the crap out of people.

As for that Thomas chick, I can easily Imogen why he strayed.

Why don't the newspapers just change his name to Ryan Greggs, like in Pro Evo?

Three for me, and two for them.
