For some reason you just choose not to comment on good performances, or anything that seems to be contrary to your opinion. That's all I was pointing out.

No I'm not a councillor (or a counsellor), but even though you and I generally do not get along, it does concern me that you are so focussed on negative things a lot of the time.

Dude, you're overstepping a mile here. Let people comment what they want to comment and if he doesn't want to comment after some games that's none of your business. Or mine, for that matter.

I never told him what to comment, I made observations about the comments he makes. It's not up to me to "let" people comment.

I'm a big believer of free speech, you can say anything you blimmin well like.

You however are most definitely implying that I shouldn't have made my comment, which is rather ironic, given your message.

"Let people comment what they want to comment" includes me. I will say what I like, within the forum rules, thank you very much.

You're welcome to comment whatever you want, I'm just pointing out that your comment comes cross incredibly judgemental and asshole-y. As does this follow up. So, yes, I'm implying a decent, polite human being wouldn't have made that comment and therefore that you shouldn't (obviously making assumptions here that may be incorrect). Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion but "free speech" isn't a free license to say what you want without being called out for being a Twit.

Sounds good to me.

How shark are United then? Completely outplayed at home by a depleted PSG side. Should really have been 3 or 4 but for some poor finishing.

Paul Labile Pogba. Has he ever done anything of note in a big game for Manchester United Football Club? He seems happy enough scoring, assisting and dabbing when playing the likes of Huddersfield, Fulham and Cardiff. Goes hiding when a competent midfield pairing or trio rock up.

Also has this shown up the Norwegian goblin for what he really is? A tactically inept and clueless manager at the top table. Hopefully for all our sakes he rights some wrongs when you take on Liverpool later this month, but i think on that showing Klopp will be licking his lips at the prospect of going head to head with Ole eleven days from now.

Full strength Arsenal just lost to Bate Borisov ... "How shark are Arsenal then?"

As far as I see it there's no shame in losing to PSG. The two injuries absolutely killed us. There's a difference between having players injured before a game and being able to completely plan accordingly, and losing two at half-time and having to completely re-jig the strategy mid-game. In saying that, I am sure United meticulously plan for such eventualities. It hurt us because we just don't have the depth to cope and someone like Mata is a completely different type of player to Lingard. PSG were the superior side, with superior squad depth and it showed on the day. No shame at all in that.

One such loss hasn't "shown Ole up" at all. Reality is we are in the CL spots for next season as it stands - something that wasn't even in anyone's thinking a month ago. Let's see how the next few weeks play out, starting with Chelsea Tuesday.

I agree to a certain extent to him having big games against the bottom half of the prem but he can only play what's in front of him in those ones. Pundits who were slating him a few weeks ago were questioning whether he should now be in line for POTY honours for the whole league. I don't think last night was a concern. He's been excellent for the last month and was due a quiet game. It just happened to be against a pretty good side on a big night. He was pretty damn good for France in the World Cup and I'd call those big games. We've got Chelsea/Liverpool/PSG coming up so we'll see how he goes across those fixtures and then reassess whether he has a big game issue. I think he'll have a stormer against the Scousers.

He's been one of the best players in the league since OGS took over. Your opinion is so far off the mark its not really worth discussing.

Yep! We were unhappy at the time but how well did that work out.

Mkhitaryan hasn't even been good and yet we still got by far the better side of the deal.

Sanchez' market value over time:

Agree he was excellent for France at the World Cup, i even defended him on here from one or two posters who suggested he was shark in Russia and it was simply Kante making him look good. Fact is he's never really delivered for United in a big game or when it really mattered. One performance comes to mind, City away last year. Pogba seized the initiative and turned the game on it's head. I think if he were to do that more often he would certainly be in the discussion for best player in the Prem. Pundits can be incredibly fickle so POTY calls are very premature and fail to take in the bigger picture. I hope you're right and he does show up against Liverpool, cannot stand the thought of them winning the league.

Three for me, and two for them.

First away win against Chelsea since 2012, pretty good performance overall. OGS coached Sarri off the park there, our  diamond midfield shut down the areas Hazard likes to operate in and still managed to avoid being overexposed in wide areas for the most part, very interesting battle to watch.

Stats don't always tell the whole story, but Chelsea possession 67% to 33%,  638 passes to 319,  pass accuracy 87% to 73%, shots pretty even.

Those figures suggest you did throw a lot at us.

They suggest we passed the ball aimlessly around, as we've been doing this season, with no real purpose with 2 shots on target, both in the 11th minute.

I've just watched the 1st half and quite frankly Chelsea were miles the better side. When we scored first it was against the run of play.

They certainly have a couple of fantastic players.

Anyway lets hope we can continue a winning streak against Liverpool.

Hi All,

New to this forum so hello!

I am a Phoenix fan but also a United fan, and so I have started a United supporters page based out of Wellington with a view to organising meet-ups for games and other social events. I was a member of a NZ wide page, but most members were Auckland based so I thought the time was ripe to have a page for United fans in the capital city.

We have also been in contact with the club about starting a club endorsed official Wellington Manchester United Supporters Club (they require us to have 50 members based in the Wellington Region to endorse it). The link to the page is below and we would love to see you over there!

Also, if mods/admins don't like links to facebook groups, then apologies in advance and please delete, not trying to create any hassle just a place for Wellington United fans to share their opinions!

Very cagey first half to say the least. No subs left (Herrera, Mata & Lingard have all come and gone) and Rashford has been hobbling about with an ankle knock since early on. Still game on, but to be fair, while having most of the possession, Liverpool haven't created anything meaningful.

Shaw having a really good game thus far and is keeping Salah quiet. 2nd half just kicking off.

Had to make the tough decision to miss this one - by sounds of it we were hampered by injuries?

Liverpool with lots of ball but completely ineffective?

Liverpool were very ordinary for a "title contender" and didn't even get a shot on target in the second half. Big chance for them against a very under strength United side. We showed a lot of desire and effort, team attitude has done a 180 under OGS. Luke Shaw has a Mo Salah shaped bulge in his pocket again.

Would be a tragedy if he didn't get the fulltime job at this point.
