And not being able to mount a title challenge while doing so.

It's no wonder the fans are taking this defeat particularly hard.

You're reading different Man United forums to me! You seem to think I'm upset about the lack of title challenge. This Man City side is the best team to ever play in the Premier League. I have 0 qualms about losing to them, other than the normal feeling of not enjoying a loss to our rivals.

But keep trolling, someone might get upset at some point but I'm just finding it funny.

Actual footage of Nelfoos here following yet another derby defeat to the better half of Mancunian football

But remember folks, it's ok to be happy with being a distant second, closer to 7th (SEVENTH) than top, because the team that are top are apparently the best team to ever play in the Premier League. Despite spending close to £300 million since Jose arrived, and over £550 million since Fergie retired, being The Best Team to ever Play in the Premier League™ is simply unattainable for this club.

I agree re City and I'm just smiling as the troll mocked me some months ago when I said City were the best team by a mile.

Actually shows what he knows about football. :)

Nice to see chickens being counted nice and early there, but I'd take us a bit more seriously than that if I were you. Ferguson is still the only ManU Manager to have ever finished above Wenger. It's not as easy as it looks.

No no, I agree with you. It's only December. Lots of people thinking today was a grand final.

Jose told City to tone it down. What could possibly go wrong?

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I would put this down to stress. Mr Mourinho has been living like a tramp in a Manchester travelodge for over 12 months now. A home defeat to, quite literally it seems, their noisy neighbours has obviously tipped him over the edge.

Well, that and the fact he can't build a title challenging squad anymore.

Sorry 20 Legend , using the term 'gr*** f****' in this thread is well out of order. That term applies to competitions where 60% , I kid you not, of the competitors are given a title shot at season end. Follow my drift?

The guy is a clown. He should care more about him team than any other. Perhaps it is that since he first came on here (10 years ago) the Woolwich boys have never won the EPL, in fact he was  14 years old since they last won the title. I think Chelsea and us have won it about 5 times each since Arsenal in 2004.

I guess it is understandable how paranoid one might get if you can see another year go by without a title. :)

That's fair. This thread isn't all that active (we don't have a whole lot to bitch about) so I don't read it much. Has he been up to this shark the entire time? Christ I thought people grew out of it when they hit about 17.

What are the three trophies he has won? Pardon me for asking but I can't really remember as I'm pretty sure they're all insignificant.

Also to the bloke above who suggested all is well at Old Trafford, and United fans are in no way unhappy with the team, or their underachieving manager, have a watch of this. In particular, watch from 3:05 when an angry little goblin appears to give his thoughts, where he is joined by an alcoholic old woman about a minute or so later.

Counting a preseason game as a trophy is a sign of a small team mentality and of desperation. I guess Arsenal fans should be counting their Emirates Cup wins as trophies now.

What pre season are you talking about? Small team mentality-- you are either taking the piss or just an idiot/troll. The most successful English team.

The 'truth' about the tunnel thing...

"

Jose Mourinho's Manchester derby tunnel bust-up: A timeline of what really happened after the game

Milk, plastic water bottles, obnoxiously loud music and ticker-tape ... here's what really happened away from the television cameras after yesterday's seismic Manchester derby"

Crikey!

My initial thoughts when you posted it here DF was that Mourinho was doing some really odd Mourinhoing but going and talking to them...

But then seeing the photos... ticker tape? Seems a bit over the top considering they literally won a league game...

But they haven't actually won anything yet... christ it's not even the last time we'll play them this season. Be honest, actually bringing the ticker tape is some next level wankery.

What? Don't you ever ever party after a good result? I still think back to the epic celebration after the Olympic side ( about Cap four) I played for, in the eighties, beat BNU 5-4. Wish we'd had ticker tape for it!! And, yep, it was 'just' a league match.

Did the bloke who scored the winner run to the crowd and slide on his knees in front of the 7 strong crowd as well?
