Bolder released on a Free, will sign for Millwall. Flood released from the reserves. Rehman on loan to Bradford, thats his career in the hoops finished. Borrowdale on loan to Southen. no one, including Sousa could understand why he was bought from Covenry when he couldn't even make their squad.

Possible signing from Man City coming up. Not Robinho.

2-all away to Forest. Was expecting a good result at Forest which is more than can be said most seasons as Rs have NEVER won there! But its not the worst result, and can build for next weeks game. Ipswich Town next week will be tricky but its again a game that on paper the R's SHOULD win.

Matteo Alberti scored both for us. The report says we stayed in control and should have won except the forest Keeper was in superman mood.

I'm llooking forward to beating Ipswich, then HN might change the tage he's attached under my Avatar.

Back to the top to remind HN to change Ipswich 2 QPR 0  to QPR 2 Ipswich 0.

Please note, it's also funny to see Norwich in the bottom three too!!

I gather from the commentary that everyone except the QPR Manager felt that Mahon played a part in all three of Ipswich's goals yet was the one player not subsituted for QPR. Even the crowd were singing "You dont know what you're doing" to Mahon and booing him. Nice to have your own crowd behind you like that.

Good win for your lads but we do have two games in hand. However on this form, I cant see much changing.

I reckon the Rs are still a show at the playoffs - 13 games to go and only 5 points off. May scrape in at 6th. Need to beat those lower teams at Loftus though.

Well I guess we could still make the play-offs but an improvement in form is required fairly soon. Missed an opportunity today with the loss to Barnsley as nearly all the teams above us lost too.  Bugger!
I don't think the constant changing of players is necessarily helping and I don't understand why Blackstock isn't starting more games. Gee, Simon Skinner from qpr.net doesn't like Camp or Cook much does he? I'd have them both in my side.

Playing on striker does not help. That Flavio's influence, especially the selection of certain italians.

2-1 to Barnsley and no wins in 5 for us. Delaney got ours.

QPR 0 Norwich 1. 12 corners to 2 and we still couldn't score. FFS. There was plenty of booing at the end and as the commentator said - rightly so. No hunger, ambition or desire from the players.

fans wont be amused as the rip off season ticket prices for this season and next season. It's cheaper to buy a 400 pound st at Old Trafford.

I was at that game last night along with Frankie Mac (hoping to see Killen but he didn't make the Norwich squad).  QPR kept hold of the ball well but overall really created very little.  Poor mistakes for the goal from both the fullback and the keeper.  Nowrich were ordinary and will struggle to stay up, and on that performance I think QPR will struggle to make the playoffs.  Just a bit too lightweight for the division

Paulo Sousa's job a little more secure afyer 2 wins on the trot.

Parted company with your manager - again.  Which proven top notch manager will the world's richest club turn to now to lead them to glory? Dennis Wise is available

Paladini and Briatore need to be taken out to a quite part of the woods and have a bullet placed at the base of their respective necks.

Sousa was actually doing a good job in his own style. So too was Dowie - now assistant to Shearer at Nukecastle.

The best of the bunch for me since Ollie's departure was Luigi De Canio. He has the team playing Premiership style football, but wasn;t given time by Briatore and Paladini to see the job done.

As the reaction to Paulo Sousas departure continues we have to consider what Rangers next decision will be. Will they make a similar move to the Sousa appointment or will they actually use this opportunity to do something sensible and finally win back some fan support?

I said yesterday that I dont care who the club appoint to succeed Sousa and I stand by that. Its irrelevant in the current situation. If they choose to appoint another coach to work under the same set up then well be in the same position a few months down the line.

I honestly expect this will be the way they go. Theyll pick up some young European coach to work in the same way as Sousa and De Canio then complain when he cant get any more out the limited players supplied to him. Theres a chance they might fluke their way into convincing an English name to take up the challenge and hell just quit when the system proves too frustrating.

The only way forward for Queens Park Rangers now is to take a long hard look at their set up and make some drastic changes. The first of those is getting rid of our Sporting Director as soon as possible.

That means the end of Gianni Paladini, he is responsible for assembling our current squad and he hasnt given our coaches good enough options to succeed. That alone leaves his position up for discussion.

If were going to have a continental system then you cant hide behind it, the quality of the squad is the responsibility of the Sporting Director not the coach and Paladini should pay the price. Aside from being culpable for our current situation his very presence will rule out a lot of potential appointments from even getting off the ground.

Frankly though the fact that I dont think Paladini is doing a good job is irrelevant, his position is more of a problem than his performance. He needs to go and he must not be replaced.

Once Paladini has gone Briatore and co must then come out and make a statement that they will be recruiting for a manger this summer, not a first team coach, a manager. A proper, English style, warts and all, football manger. And then they must leave them to get on with the job.

That alone will suddenly bring some interesting names into the frame and maybe, just maybe, get back a little respect from the fan base.

If the club chooses to stick with the status quo then frankly we might as well all give up and go home. Theres only so many times you can make the same mistake and if the club continues with this continental system we will continue to move in circles.

Its time for the board to take bold and drastic action. There is so much potential at this club, there is much that could be achieved, but it will all go to waste if they dont open their eyes.

There are only really two ways this can go. Either they make the changes and give us a proper football club to support or they just leave things as they are and watch QPR wilt away in front of their eyes.

The time is right for big decisions to be taken, are the board up for the challenge?

Some great memories in that lot.  The own goal was pretty tasty!

Roy Wegerle had enormous talent that he never quite fulfilled I felt.  I first saw him playing for Chelsea reserves just after we signed him on Rodney Marsh's recommendation and you could see he had something.  He scored a few goals for us but no one was too bothered when he left even though we had a very ordinary team back then.  He did better at the smaller clubs like QPR and Luton for some reason.  Nice goal though.  Reminds me of Graham Stuart's for Chelsea v Sheff Wed around that time.  Another player who never quite lived up to his skill level.

Wergerle went on to try his luck as a golf professional. Sad that such talent never quite conquors the big time, yet a lot of plain, boring, unimaginative players do! Guess it's all about team effort rather than individual Skill.  Peter Osgood, Alan Hudson, Even Gordon Hill never quite won the BIG ones and internationals that they should have.

What is going on with the club...
Looks like a lesson in how not to run a football club.
Don't blame Paulo for being annoyed, at a crucial part of the season they loan out the most prolific striker... stinks of handing in the towel..

3-2 over Sheffield Wednesday after being 2-0 down. Mahon scored a goal for them before scoring one for us. Vine got onto the sheet and Damian Stewart scored the winner with 2 minutes to go.

And we visit Wolves on Saturday. I hope we rain on their parade too, after that gutless effort of theirs on the last day of the season in 1975/76. How can you lose 3-1 with 15 minutes to go and you're leading 1-0?

Crowther released from QPR and now trialing at the Nix. I just went to various QPR sites and they reckon he was number 3 in lkine behind Cerny and Camp but there is another 17/18 year old "vulmer" who is meant to be even better. I hope the Nix sign crowther, at 6'6" at least he has the height and most of the comments I read about him seemed to be favourable.

Cheers LG, One of only 4 losses suffered by the Clarets that season as Burnley & QPR blitzed the rest of the league to get promoted to the top tier.
That was the year I was captured, as an impressionable youth, by the Burnley spell.  It's been a hell of a rollercoaster ride since then.  Wouldn't have it any other way.
