What the shark's going on. Winning at Forest away and making it top the 4th round of the cup.

Am I in a parallel universe?

Use some of that to ry and keep Manning & BOS. Sign Klimala from Celtic...unless the Nix want to. Great striker and young.

Predictions for the season? I hate that I'm being optimistic, but I'm hoping for 7th or above.

With the summer signings they've made. On track for 5th or 6th. For the first time in 20 years, they've brought in wisely - including the 4 loanees from last season, now as fully signed up squad players. Getting Johanssen from Foolham was the Cherry on top. Beating a decent enough Man United team 4-2 was a decent start. Not so much as the pre season game is for fitness for both teams but 3 of the goals really were outstanding and anyone would have been proud to claim them.

I'm worried about this air of optimism we're facing. If we don't hit the ground running, I suspect people will be calling for Warburton's head, forgetting the significant progress we've made over the past few seasons.

gotta be disappointed with that showing against sunderland this morning - 0-0 at the 90 and three missed pens giving the win away in the worst possible fashion.

That was a goal. It should never have gone to pens.

50 years ago in 1975 and the advent of Big League Soccer, later Big League Football.......I started Following QPR I saw their game against Aston Villa on a Sunday morning...

Anyway, I'm putting up the Division 1 table. I wonder how these teams would do today, what they did back then. Some things never really change - Burnley, Wolves.... Back then, the crowds were fantastic at all the games and not a prawn sandwich in sight.

Very interesting that 50 years later, all those teams are currently in either the premiership or championship

Auckland will rise once more

Jeepers, this is like watching the Nix! Crap home loss to relegation zone Blackburn sandwiched between wins against top 6 Coventry and Hull. All while in 13th position but only 4 points off the play-off places (or be it with a poor goal difference). Crazy, frustrating, and hope generating in equal amounts.
