Every QPR player will have Ray Jone's name on the back of their jersey today but they will keep their own numbers. The FL have approved this as a token of recognition to Ray by the club and players.

A special programme (3 pounds) has also been issued for todays game against Southampton, mostly about Ray .

Will the F1 boys' 30 million pounds bring the good times back to Loftus Road or is QPR just the latest accessory for the rich & powerful? Ir seems anyone with a bit of dosh is plashing it on clubs these days - must of got sick of fast cars, mansion, holiday homes and super yachts. Bring back Ian Holloway I say, his quips always make me laugh - fully certiable nutter.

this is a great touch.
QPR, has always had a tradition of bringing local kids through.
i hope that the day is fitting for this young mans memory.

could be the start of something good at QPR, maybe the return of the glory days. sorry for the cut and paste. is it official yet?

F1 team move into QPR
QPRs board will recommend acceptance of an offer for the club from Formula One magnates Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone. Gianni Paladini will remain as chairman but directors Antonio Caliendo and Franco Zanotti have agreed to resign. Briatore is head of the Renault F1 team and will link up with the sports supremo Ecclestone in taking control

Gonna be at the game today - shift swap etc just did a night shift so i could make it! I hope the Phoenix appreciate the effort! Richard Johnson formerly of QPR is a good guy. Have had a couple of chats with him. I am hoping he's playing today.

No news from QPR, but I did hear that several loan signings are in the pipeline. I just want to make sure that that ABC loan is paid off in full and they no longer have claws on our ground!

Yep and apparently Ray Wilkins and Giannia Vialli might be our new managers? Gregory has a done a good job on no money how about we give him some and wait til may before sacking him. He might prove with decent players he can get us moving up the table

Ray Wilkins?  Well, he's been there before.  I remember when he was player-manager.  I guess he was getting a bit long in the tooth then.  He used to sort of scuttle sideways like a crab on the pitch

And gutless performance. Are they going to blame this one of Ray Jones's death as well?

It's pissing me off. The players are not treating the fans with respect with them playing like limp wristed, balless, numpties. You make your own luck in this game. We have a much better squad than last season, yet they are playing much worse. FFS fans pay 20+ quid to see some footie with passion and effort.

They need to look at the Phoenix, these guys don't drop thir arse, they keep trying for the full ninety hence some decent results. Absolutely F'd off with QPR this season.

just a decent defence and strikers not afraid to pull the trigger would help. The chances are being created.

Colchester United 4   QPR 2

Yeh! We are staying up, we are staying up...

Smallest club ever at this level and still we kick but.

and the Rs had two of our ex star loanees Rowan Vine and Hogan Ephraim in the side who scored your goals - if we had any money both would have been signed for the Us but we couldnt pay enough to satisfy their original clubs. Both are great boys, so lucky Rs.
