Nice line on the BBC website about how you're new nickname is "The Spaghetti Hoops"

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

"Being a Partick Thistle fan sets you apart. It means youre a free thinker. It also means your team has no money." Tim Luckhurst, The Independent, 4th December 2003

Oh? I know it's getting ridiculous. Backroom staff being replaced. Translators are making a fortune at the expeense of spending the dosh on more important issues.

Tigers dont worry. we have a friend on several QPR message boards going under the username "Ricardo" - he's a good Hll fan and has helped form a good fan relationship between the two clubs.

Wel De Canio now has a worse record than Mick Harford. Is he about to be fired too?

Harford - 2 wins, 2 draws.
De Canio - 1 win, 1 loss.

You got closer to Coventry than Man U so that must count for something.

What else could he have done?

a clash of two new managers,

but yours is newer, so under the famous "new manager wins theory" you should win (unless Palace are about to turf their new manager quicker than your lot did)

just thought (if thinking isn't too grand a term) on that basis Man U would lose to everybody

yep we drew and  both teams could have won it

Conceding an 88th minut equaliser means we have gifted 5 opoints in the last two games. We have snatched a draw and a loss from the jaws of victory.

Interesting point from the new manager, He told the players not to do something which they duly ignored. Be interesting to see how the new boss deals with that. Mind you the players attitudes needs adjusting.

yeah but in fairness they had 15 shots to our 7 and then we had their keeper pull of three brilliant saves by the reports i read so 1-1 is good and better than 2-1 loss

On the fansnet site they reckon we had the better of the game. Even the Palace fans were claiming we had them.

One problem QPR have is that I cant see Norwich continuing to be so bad much longer so the battle at the bottom is going to get tougher rather than easier. Getting into a pattern of poor results in mid season could be near fatal and leave the club in that "fight and hope" mode from Feb through to seasons end.

I see Hogan has returned to West Ham - we loved him at Colchester and I know he was good for you guys. My friends in Colchester tell me they did him the unusual honour of clapping him after he scored for QPR against us! (Doesnt often happen).

yeah Orpewise i think you find with so caller lower teams like ours that they appreciate footballers more than the top clubs. we seem to like them more when thay are with us but still appreciate them when they move on rather than detest them we wish them the best.

I believe I have mentioned on this website before that the Nix should have made a move for Ward in August. He wasn't going to get a run under John gregory and the Italian One has released him. The Nix Loss, QPR's Loss, Melbournes gain.

Just had 4 days up in Napier mate. Was good to drop a few suds with Chaz.

They reckon the new manager is very animated and waves his arms around a lot in an Italian way - but that no-one can understand what he;'s trying to communicate

Nygaard is the only player who understands Italian. It's not too differcult, just get 10 men behind the ball at all times!
