Bring it for sure, looking forward to a cracking cupla games there

Wenger talking about suarez in an interview overnight, seems he still really wants him, will be interesting to see how that plays out next summer. Always hated Suarez but with the goals he's scoring it's tough not to drool over the prospect of having him in our lineup.

It's interesting what he says about him being a really nice personality / great at training and overall angel off the pitch, but a demon on the pitch and how he likes that.

And yeah, the schedule for those games is awful. Especially the games after the second game vs Bayern!

Him saying that basically confirms that he isn't coming to us and that ship has already sailed. He wouldn't be talking so openly about him if he thought there was a real chance of us launching a bid. We missed our shot.

AVB is sacked

I think the Cocks have had 10 different managers / boss since Wenger's been on the scene

When asked why his side was playing so poorly AVB replied" I couldn't see the game through the brown bags"

40 million would have been a bargain as well. I'd hate to think his value now.

Surely Suarez can't stay at Liverpool without Champions League. Much like RvP (although I still hate him) couldn't stay without a shot at a trophy (although we would have bossed last season with you d*ckhead).

His value is firstly only what someone is prepared to pay, and secondly if that someone is a club that he actually wants to play for. Real Madrid and Barcelona would appear to have been ruled out financially, given their recent purchases and the full state of their respective squads, although that could change if Madrid sell Maria and/or Benzema, as has been rumoured.
PSG and Monaco are unlikely to be attractive destinations.
That doesn't leave many clubs who would want him and be able to afford him. ManU, not with the twin traitors there. ManC, probably not if he wants to be top dog, given aguero and negredo's partnership. Chelsea a possibility but torres' path may prove a warning there, and mourinho has not even hinted that he's interested.
Who then? Bayern? Probably not for 50mil plus, and definitely not if they buy lewandoski as is rumoured.
Realistically I think it's us or Madrid.

In saying all of that I do feel he'll probably stay at Liverpool through Jan. And if they do sustain a title challenge, and make the CL, then he could stay for good...

So wilshere gets 2 games... go figure

My lineup for chelsea;

                    Szczesny

Sagna-Mertesacker-Vermaelen-Gibbs

               Flamini-Ramsey

          Walcott-Ozil-Cazorla

                     Giroud

Is that based on Kosc still being out?

That midfield is such a tough call at the moment. We do need Flamini, but could we bring more balance to the side by starting Ramsey wide instead of Cazorla and playing Arteta alongside Flamini?

This morning we've been linked with Diego Costa from Althetico and Hernandez as a back up option. Thoughts on those two? I don't know much about Costa but he is in form, but he is brazillian and I'm never sold on their attitude, and I've always felt Hernandez never lived up to the hype 3 years on from his W/Cup signing by SAF.

Additionally we're 'on alert' along with city for Casillas. I am loving Szy's form, but surely if he's available Casillas would be a wonderful signing to help nurture Szy's development and provide an epic battle for the gloves.

Yep I'm assuming Kosc is out. There are some rumours that he might be ready for Westham on boxing day.

I'd take Diego Costa for sure... hernandez no thanks

costa a few years ago had a rotten attitude and im surprised althetico stayed with him. but this year he has pulled his head in. and i think would be a good buy for us

Don't all other clubs have similar scheduling?

We have a much worse schedule around the next Champions League ties!

Sorry should have clarified that the tight games are not singular to us, just that we are hitting so many games with a flattening out of form/results.

Big positive is Walcott is hitting his straps, and hopefully Podolski can pick up a few mins in the next 3/4 games as he usually builds himself up over time.

Great read as per usual.

Campbell a possible recall option should we get ourselves into an injury crisis?

Whatever suarez's buyout is, im sure the lil prick will only last another 18months max. Before forcing a move away.

Anyway. Chel$ea look very beatable at the mo, but im not convinced we up to it at the mo. But surely a draw is the least we want out of it.

Caught the final ten minutes and it seemed to be all us, negative as from Chelsea which was frustrating. Giroud's chance off Gibb's cross should have been a goal dammit. Interesting that Arsene didn't go to the bench at all...

Additionally how the f*ck are we now 2nd to Liverpool? Dammit.

i wonder if we'll see quite a lot of rotation against westham given arsene oddly not making any subs this morn... Sagna looked a bit rusty this morn to me as well

A point ok against a defensive chelsea, but a little gutting not to be top right now. Hopefully to be resolved when liverpool visit man city next

For westham perhaps as many as 6 changes?;

                       Szczesny

Jenkinson-Mertesacker-Koscielny-Monreal

                 Flamini-Ramsey

          Walcott-Cazorla-Podolski

                        Giroud

I've been pondering this for a wee while Paulm and I kinda agree. You've still got a solid spine of the team, with your 'weak links' being your 2nd string full backs, and then up front you're rocking the best attacking from four from 12/13 season!

You do have to feel for our other keepers, with only the FA Cup left we've got bugger all competitions to use for junior game time, I wouldn't be suprised to see Fabianski take a hike, Schalke seems to be the talk of the town?

I imagine its something to do with subtle differences between Suarez and Giroud, like goal scoring... :-P

However, I felt you lot were robbed of a pen. Clear possession, and feet hooked out from underneath. Ridiculous. Still, top of the table is top of the table. History quibbles not over such minutiae as how and why, it merely reflects the staus quo, which at this point means Liverpool are NUMBER 1!!! This is the best the league has been in years, may I add.
I actually got abused by a Manc fan yesterday whilst wearing my strip at the pub too. Poor soul thought Coutinho had two Ns in it...

You've nailed it. It's open, 6 teams+ are up for it, which is how it should work. The top4 dominance has been broken, as has the 'money' dominance displayed by City, Chelsea, and to a lesser extent United.

Still think City will walk it once they sort their away form out.

Three for me, and two for them.
