Sublime. 11 BPL matches left. Some tough games in there, but we're right in this.

Thought the commentating was awful, starting it by saying we're completely out of the ECL. What. The. F*ck. We still have a game to go and have a track record showing we can score 2 goals away. Even when Giroud scored the opener it was all 'Sunderland were awful' rather than 'sublime movement and passing from Arsenal'. Just did not feel neutral at all.

Yeah, that's a lovely goal.

Stoke (A) 01/03  -  PL

Everton (H) 08/03  -  FA Cup

Bayern Munich (A) 11/03  -  CL

Tottenham (A) 16/03  -  PL

Chelsea (A) 22/03  -  PL

Manchester City (H) 29/03  -  PL

That's how the rest of March looks.

Easy.

Ramsey should be back around the Everton game from memory, the boys should be pretty refreshed with a week off now.  Not sure how much effort we should put into the Bayern game with this schedule to be honest

As does a new manager. Liverpool flying up the ladder. Hopefully they can strip some points off City & Chelsea.
I'm torn about the Bayern match. We know we've been there and got the result to loose on away goals with a side that has less belief, experience, and form than we do now. That said that result kick started a phenominal run so it was significant.
Maybe its the kind of match that if we can win that pumps us up big time for the Spurs/Chelsea/City games to put us to first for the final run in.

I think they will take us a little more serious than last year at their home. I'd obviously love a good result, but would be happy with us putting up a good fight, even getting a positive result, without going through. The worst case scenario is being put to the sword before the following three games.

I think premier league wins against Stoke and Tottenham are a must, while a win / draw or draw / draw will be acceptable against Chelsea and City. That's a win / draw against either of them. Draw / Loss in either order would certainly be game over.

I'm just listening to the latest talking fussball podcast and they interview mertesacker and his english accent makes him sound very much like Ali G

I think win the other 9 games is good enough, just.

Arsenal, where do you get your gifs like that one in your signature? Do you make them yourself?

Would you take Vertonghen? It'd be a great signing for us if we could to round out 4 solid CB's.

RE Sanogo, I find it fascinating that they just pulled him out for 4 months to build him up. Good investment though.

Can't recall where I got this one from, I didn't make it.

Vertonghen would be an awesome buy. I doubt Belgium would be impressed with Vermaelen and Vertonghen both at Arsenal behing Mertesacker and Koscielny though. Assuming that partnership continues to thrive, and Vermaelen stays.

I think that's awesome about pulling Sanogo out for 2 months in England and 2 months in France to rebuild / condition him. It sounds like it worked really well. It looks like it did too. Hopefully that will help him with his injuries too.

See ya Nicklas.

I'd love it but I can't see us getting vertonghen, there's no way spurs would sell him to us at any price unless no one else wanted him. And surely he's got at least 2 years to run on his contract so he won't be interested in winding it down and coming on a free.

Also, not to be a doomsday merchant, but we're far from confirmed in the top 4 at this stage. We're 3 points away from 4th and it'll only take a bad couple of results in our March Death Run to drag us down to Spurs level.

Stoke next in the league, followed by:

Spurs (A)

Chelsea (A)

Man City (H)

Lose those three and we'll be right in amongst the rabble.

On the other hand, win those three and we'll probably be favourites to win the league!

2 wins and draw out of those 3 games and we would be a very position.

yeah he'll never get it at his current employers

Paul, neither the Cocks or Chq books will get to 4th. Regardless of how poorly we play or even a Liverpool collapse

We need to beat Stoke because MCFC have the weekend off, adds a little pressure. well maybe.

I don't think it's a weekend off - isn't it the League Cup Final?

Read in an article this morning that the entire squad got 2 days off after the Sunderland result, which is nice for the players but also a probably a well needed rest before the up and coming games.

Also read that Ramsey is targeting Spurs as his comeback game, meaning he'll miss Stoke, Everton and Bayern Munich. Hopefully that's the case, be good to see him again.

Joel Campbell, on loan from us, has just put Olympiakos up 2-0 against manU

Good lad. Maybe we should bring him back as we can't seem to score against that rabble!

Campbell pre-match was talking about coming back and fighting for a place in the team. I don't think Bendtner, Sanogo, or Giroud could score those kind of goals...I'd love to see him get a shot at a place.

Be interesting to see if United can turn it around.

I heard the reason campbell is away on loan is because he cant get a work visa. I hope that gets sorted for next season.

Oh I don't think Arsenal are that good but they're a hell of a lot better than that rabble from up north.

tickets sorted for the Everton FA Cup game, meaning that for some reason I will have been to every Arsenal FA Cup game this season.  As a designated lucky charm, I believe that you lot should pitch in for my tickets to the semi final and final.
