Pep would be the dream but are we going to settle for short-term managers like everyone else these days? Is it even possible to have a long-term manager anymore?

Doubt it. Wenger's probably the last of a dying breed.

Three for me, and two for them.

Fark that is a lot money. And I can't see it justified. Bony and Delphi are definitely not worth their price tags.

If Wenger steps down and doesn't go straight upstairs, I would like to see him at UEFA or FIFA, he has the nous and integrity to do a lot of good.

So Sanchez now out until Jan 10. Cazorla, Wilshere, Welbeck still a way away.

We are very light in the front three. Could do with the Ox hitting some form!

Having not lost to anyone in the top 5 and having played them all once I am super stoked with how this team is playing!

There's Ozil, and then there's everybody else.

Still buzzing, that's a massive result. It all seemed too easy until the Toure goal and obligatory last 10 minutes of panic. Great position to be in going into the Xmas period but the fear is that like 13-14 we'll be left short and fall apart again. A lot is going to depend on keeping Ozil, Ramsey, Koscielny, Giroud and Sanchez fit.

Great finishes for the goals but the Toure one was outrageous. Live I thought "fudges sake he's completely mis-hit and sliced that and it's flown in the one place Cech couldn't get to." It was the replay from the reverse angle that showed it was like something Henry would have done.

You'd think Leicester will fade eventually but that's been said for a while now and it's not happening yet. In Vardy and Mahrez they have probably 2 of the top 3 players in the league this season so depends if they can stay fit and keep their form up. Perhaps their heads may get turned by big clubs in the transfer window.

I'd be pretty shocked if we didn't just appoint Bould tbh.

poor ref decision

Even worse give away from Theo

Another poor decision allowing the corner after Koscielny shepherded the ball out of play. Hard to come back from 3-0 down when. Frustrating when 2 of them were inept officiating.

Also, did we even want this win? Watching the way every second ball was one by the saints, with often two other saints players there waiting to back their mate up while we had no one challenging was horrendous viewing. Hopefully this is the wake up call for the investment we needed.

We can blame the ref all we want but we had the chance to go top and once again the players failed to step up when it mattered.

Disappointed.

Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again - we need some Wanyama.

Sure there are other (supposedly better, more expensive) options, but he'd hit the ground running, be relatively cheap, and provide exactly what we need. Sign him.

comedown big time

this title race is anybody's that can stay consistent, we need to hurry up and be that team

we have looked a bit jaded after big games this season, we have an issue getting up for the next one

It seems like the presumption is we beat City so next game is easy 3 points

Just not that sort of season
