I absolutely love Arsenal vs Liverpool matches, there is always high scores and dramas.

The commentator was saying it's the fixture that's produced the most hat tricks, both Firmino and Giroud had their chances to add to that today.

Jordan Ibe is one for the future, phenomenal player.

Ibe is good, decision making is still very raw but hopefully it comes along soon.

Giroud's miss was a shock...was watching it on a small screen but appeared to be a weird, laying on his face, one footed scorpion kick from Mingolet. Not sure he had a clue about it.

I'm not sure I can see Foxes continue this form for the rest of the season, I'd say the title is Arsenal's for the losing.

Exciting game

Fair result

Emre Can was very good for Liverpool. Not sure what Rodgers was up to with him.

Campbell another good game for us, goes well with Nacho.

Need a win @ Stoke and to flog Chelsea

It was a horrendous miss, genuinely baffled how he scored the other two when he couldn't finish a sliding tap in from 3 yards on his preffered foot into an empty net.

Just seen the highlights. Dafaq was wally doing for their 1st goal. Fudgeing stupid. Campbells ball for our first was beautiful( never thought he would be this good for us). Liverpools 2nd was stunning, but we shouldn't be given players that sort of time at the top of the box.
Our 2nd was poor defending from pool. But good to see giroud finishing them. And his second, holy shark what a turn!!  also again the build up, good work from Campbell.

The last goal,  shark what a heart breaker....

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

Elneny signed, and participated in his first training session, will wear no.35.

Win would have been a massive result. Pretty gut wrenching to miss out on the 3 points but would have taken the draw beforehand. Liverpool scoring in the last minute against us is usually as sure as night follows day and I kept telling myself that with only the 1 goal lead so I was prepared for it. What a goal from Giroud though and deserved to be a winner.

We do seem to be coping with these big games a bit better this season. Remember last time we went to Anfield in a title race. Only time I can ever remember turning a game off at half time and going back to bed.

Elneny has been announced now. Don't know anything about him so not sure he's the next level that's going to drag us to the title. But we needed someone and at 23 he's at least not the insult Kallstrom was last time we had a chance.

Need him to be able to contribute very quickly.

If we do do "it", we're not going to do it the easy way - that's just how it is.

Thankfully, the club have thought ahead and are providing all AFC fans with one of these; the Arsenal Experience Defibrillator:

Walcott squared it too him, Ramsey was running onto it as well but was behind the play.

Walcott did get in his way for the corner yet he got enough on it to 'meg the keeper on an acute angle.

He's an enigma.

Another 2 points saved by Cech. Good point at a ground we often lose on. Ridiculous they're still booing Ramsey 6 years after he almost had his foot taken off.

Needed to hold on at Liverpool though as 2 draws in a row makes the Chelsea game must win really. Can't afford to drop points 3 games in a row.

This was always going to be a tough 3 games, and if we don't get 3 points from Chelsea it will have been a failure for me. Hopefully Ozil isn't out too long & Elneny can start putting in some shifts & forming a partnership with Rambo. I think it's games like today Giroud's inconsistencies get shown up.

What's up with the Ox, I thought he was terrible this morning. How many times per game does he give the ball away... the boy has some confidence issues I feel

He had absolutely zero sense of direction today, there was no drive through midfield at all. Not just his fault, but he was certainly a standout for all the wrong reasons. Bench today certainly showed how short we are at the moment.

Yep they were, inbred c*nts. We really need a win this weekend against Chelsea, hoping both Ozil and Sanchez are back for this.

Good point at the cesspit.

How many London/UK based Gooners do we have on here? I know Arsenal is one, possibly Goofy too? I need your help in getting tickets to a few end of season games if possible.

Three for me, and two for them.

I'm actually okay with that point considering the circumstances.

That is a game we would usually lose. Cech really has been worth a lot of points this season.

I read interestingly after this mornings game that we have only won one game at Stoke in the last 34 years.

I'm in Australia (unfortunately). Anyone remember the North London gooner that lived in Wellington for a few years and was a regular at the Backbencher and on this part of the forum? He was always willing to help, I'll have a read back for him.

Just looked back - deang was his name but never uses this place anymore. On a separate note, if you have a few spare moments the older discussions were far more interesting when there weren't just a few main topics. Titles such as "Is John Terry a cancer on football", "Fellaini is the new Vieira", "Pascal Cygan retires" and "Cashley why would you stick a phone up your" are some of the highlights.

Buffon assuming you're in NZ you could also try the NZ official  Arsenal supporters club. As far as I understand, official supporters clubs get access to tickets for any game.

Cheers for the advice lads.

Looking for tickets to the final two home games of the season. Hopefully it culminates in us winning the league!

I'm in London, best bet outside of the NZ Supporters club may be to fork out for Red Membership and try to get tickets that way when they go on sale for Red Members. Other option would be to sit on the @Arsenal_Tickets twitter account and jump on any mention of people selling tickets for those games.

I've got a season ticket alongside a couple of mates so if anyone around me has anything spare for those games I'll let you know.

Rumours that Ozil and Sanchez's absences at Stoke were precautionary and that both are starters for Chelsea.

Also Wilshere, Welbeck and Coquelin back in full training.

For Chelsea we might see;

                         Cech

Bellerin-Mertesacker-Koscielny-Monreal

                Flamini-Ramsey

          Campbell-Ozil-Sanchez

                        Giroud

Personally I think I'd prefer Arteta or Chambers over Flamini (assuming Elneny's not ready?) but I think Wenger will stick with the same midfield combo in the hope that they start to gel a bit better.

If Sanchez comes in it has to be for Walcott, Campbell and Giroud are in form, he is not.

Flamini & Ramsey can work IF Ramsey can hold back a wee bit, and if Flamini can push up a touch so they're more together. When they're playing it feels more like this:

Ozil Ramsey

    Flamini

Which isn't ideal.

Ramsey is so good at getting into the box to score, but we probably don't need that right now with Ozil ahead of them, and Campbell/Giroud going well, with Sanchez coming back in. We should be able to create and score with Ramsey sitting deeper like you suggest Brumbys.

We need to do something in there, it's just not working well at the moment. I think if we had Coquelin fit that would be the answer, he could sit deep and handle things all by himself, allowing Ramsey to roam and create havoc, which is what he does best. Perhaps Elneny is the answer.

Loving this touch from Ozil in the liverpool game btw

Maybe try Frankie Mac as well. He used to get to a few games but hasn't commented on this thread for a while. Last I heard, he lived in one of the apartments at Highbury so wouldn't be hard to meet up.
