That the new kit?

I wouldn't swap Walcott for Sterling that's for sure. Though I do feel a bit sorry for how he's been treated by Liverpool. Alan Davies was spot on with his comments about him last week on the Tuesday Club.

Mate not talking about a swap, rumours lately we're talking $ only, which would be ideal.

My thinking is you get sterling and you now have two great wingers in Sanchez & Sterling freeing Theo to play centrally more.

Imagine the speed in this side:

                Walcott

Sanchez Wilshere  Sterling

        Ramsey  Coquellin

Gibbs Kosc Pauli Bellerin

               Szy

Although Ozil & Santi are no slouches either...

Still don't think I'd spend the money on Sterling to be honest. Rather spend it elsewhere.

Rather spend the cash on a front man and or a DM to complete with the Coq.

Cech, Martinez, De Rossi, Sterling.

That'll do it.

I don't think Sterling is, as Monsieur Wenger would say, top top quality. And talk of upwards of $40m squid?? Ridiculous.

How old is Leggy?  Is he 12 or 72?

Sterling has 2 years on his contract brumbys.

Some rumours around Dzeko this morning.

Man City could be a team worth sniffing around.

Last season they had 8 home-grown players in their squad (the bare minimum), and of those, 5 have now left. They have to sign 5 homegrown players (or promote from within), while at the same time remaining within FFP regulations.

They simply have to sell to buy. There will surely be some non-homegrown players coming available from that squad, and if they have to get cash for them then some of them could be good ones too.

Someone has spent a ridiculous amount of time recreating Sanchez's top 5 goals of the season on FIFA. Pretty good effort.

Well f*ck Sterling then, what's all the hype? SEO & click bait BS probably.

Have a crack at Aguero then eh?

Has anyone mentioned Jacks goals for England against Slovenia? How good were they. More of the same for us next season please.

Yep see the previous page, I posted the videos. Absolute stunners. That second in particular is pretty special and I can't actually think of a better goal I've seen England score in my time. Maybe Owen against Argentina would be the only one in the debate.

Lots of Kondogbia talk this morning, being widely reported that Wenger has personally held talks with him.

Apparently Inter have had a 15mil bid knocked back, Monaco are looking for 25.

Within our reach.

Some outlets have also suspended betting on Cech to Arsenal. Rumours that Mourinho wants the Ox in a swap deal LOL that will never happen.

City sniffing around Wilshire to boost their homegrown quota. I hope he doesn't go. City have poached enough of our players already.

Just to fuel the Cech speculation, rumours that our goalkeeper coach Tony Roberts is joining Swansea. Possibly to make room for Chelsea's goalkeeper coach Christophe Lollichon who followed Cech from Rennes and has been with him for most of his career.

Rumours in turkey that we've accepted a 3.2m bid from Fenerbahce for Ospina on the proviso that Cech comes in.

Sad for Ospina if true, but if the hard decision had to be made, I think it's the right one. Szczesny is younger, taller, and has more potential.

I very much doubt Wilshere will be going anywhere. Offering less money than what they offered for Sterling too, which is bizarre. Wilshere is a far better player in my opinion.

Roberts is Welsh too which might make it a coincidence, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned into a game of 'pass the parcel'.

RE Jack I'm feeling a little nervous. City have the money to spend large for home grown talent & he's exactly what they'd need in midfield. I hope we keep him but given our track record when big $ comes in I'm not sure...

Jack won't go... young family, loves the club, international career is going gangbusters and I believe he wants to replicate that success with Arsenal and win a Premier League with us.

Also, I be gutted if he went.

There's no chance we'd sell Wilshere now. We're no longer in the position where we need to sell our best players every summer. However, without a decent title challenge and CL run next season I'd be nervous going into next summer with the likes of Ozil, Sanchez and Ramsey having 2 years left on their contracts. Regarding Wilshere, had he not got injured and then had a 2nd season as good as his 1st, back when we were selling our stars every summer, I expect there would have been some mega bids and he'd possibly be at one of the Manchester clubs now.

I am of the opinion he wouldn't go  if it was his choice.

Certainly hope Jack and Ox play First XI this coming season.

And bullshark Jack got 40K fine.

Would be a massive deal if we get it over the line. Think it would be the first time since 2006 that we're going into the season with a top class keeper. And to get him off Chelsea too. It would be pretty surreal seeing him in our side.

Could it be Roberts has been nabbed by Swansea to get the best out of Fabianski?

Jackson Martinez has dropped a huge hint that he has keen on a transfer to Arsenal.

The Porto striker is set to decide where he will move to after the Copa America.

‘I’ve always had two players I’ve admired above all others: Ronaldo and Henry. So I’m very happy he made that comment about me,’ he said.

‘Arsenal are a great team, playing in one of the best leagues in the world.

‘I’m still waiting to see what the future holds. It’s not known yet but it will be known soon.

‘Whether it’s England, Italy or Spain, the most important thing is that my family and I both feel well and I can enjoy my football.’

Not sure he's good value for his age... one of those players who would probably need time to adjust to the league, by that time he'd be nearly 30, maybe 2 seasons out of him if he comes good, no re-sale value...

David Dein in that picture LOL how much black dye on that bonce!

What is Ornstein on SkinnyB, I'd say he's way off the mark there... the cech noise is way too loud for something not to be going on there, and a back-up LB to Gibbs and Monreal? Seems odd

Interesting mention by Gazidis that Bellerin was actually part of the Fabregas deal...

Man when it comes to transfer business I think Barca would be fairly disappointed with their dealings with us overall... We pulled in a lot of cash selling them Fabregas, Hleb, Song, Overmars, Petit, Henry and Vermaelen... yet when you look at what they got out of it... a couple of seasons of a half decent henry playing out of position, 4 seasons of an ok Overmars, and they used Fabregas as a decent-ish utility for 3 seasons... the rest they may as well have thrown the money away. And we got Fabregas and Bellerin off their academy virtually free of charge...

This is the full transcript of the Fans Q&A with Ivan Gazidis and Ian Wright. Really great read. Some classic Wrighty but also some really interesting stuff from Gazidis.
