NUFC completed the signing of another average player, Leon Best. These players might be ok for the championship but will be weak in the premier league if we get promoted. I dont really like the signing of another striker either as we will likely see Ranger and Carrols development put on hold.

Had to happen eventually I guess.
 
However I respect Hughton and the lads for losing this weekend and taking all the bad mojo so that the Nix can secure 4th spot and Spurs can reclaim the same.

Looking at the match report http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report?id=268470&cc=3436
it looks like we were lucky to get the point.  # of shots is quite telling.
 
Home to coventry and PNE next two games so hopefully two wins to keep the pressure on WBA.

I thought that it was just Dyer and Bowyer who were stupid tw@ts (and of course Barton, oh and Bellamy).  Oh hang on, Carroll's involved as well.
 
So on top of that there is more injury at the back too:
 
 
Might be looking at a bit of a struggle to finish off the season if there are more shenanigans and injuries.

Big game coming up on Monday.

Last season being a Toon supporter was death by a thousand cuts. This year it's been mostly good but I just wish all the off-field sh!te could get resolved (starting at the top).

Really takes away from what the club (Hughton, squad and the fans) is doing where it counts.
