Other than this forum I don't really do much of this blogging*-facebook-twitter stuff, but will have a squizz every now and then.

Here's a nice blog from the other side of the world: http://www.thfc1882.com/2011/01/27/a-great-season-or-an-anti-climax/

Boateng - Spurs reject
Pirlo - Slow, can't handle English pace, United sorted him out.
Flamini
Seedorf- I have seen his recent performances
Inzaghi - Decent player but he is on the way down.
Strasser- I don't even know who he is

I don't post on Gamefaqs.

Tottenham will show Milan how to play English football.
Power,Pace, and ruthless precision will end Milan's hopes.[/quote]

Brilliant performance today, good to see some of that good old fashioned comedy spurs defending back again!

about 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Yep, not our best work, and we put out a good team too.

Have to say I mentioned to a mate yesterday we'll lose this one. We tend to play the same basic 6 or 7 guys pretty much every week, and there was going to come a time when they're not up for it.

Guess what? - It just happened...

Hopefully 'Arry will give them a bollocking and things will step up.

Problem is no-one wants them, and we're now currently embarrassing ourselves in Spain making offers to pretty every forward in La Liga...

Terriffic scouting policy we have then...

What is palacios doing now?
I'd take him to arsenal in a heartbeat
about 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
He's mainly getting booked for mis-timed tackles atm! Unfortunately this seems to be Wilson's main 'skill' at the moment, in addition to passing to the opposition!!

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh, given everything he's been through, but he's definitely not reached his level this season. Hopefully he can get it back, we need someone to hold our m/f...

Apologies if I have missed some sarcasm, but really?

He's been utterly sh*t for 18months.

Three for me, and two for them.

Frankly, this transfer window is embarrassing, Harry telling everyone we're not making any signings, but clearly we've been chasing every striker in La Liga and apparantly tried to hijak Carroll's move to Perennial strugglers Liverpool, but he wanted to go to Merseyside. I assume that means we tried somewhere in the vacinity of 35m quid for him....jeez he's not that good.

No doubt we'll end up with Phil Neville or the like...

Not unless they sign in the next 60 minutes Dougie.

Harry Redknapp has said there would be no late transfer dealings for Tottenham Hotspur - and Everton have denied that any deal could be struck for Phil Neville.

no goat for us!

C'mon, we must have got someone?

Becks?
Posh?
The rest of the Newcastle squad?

the old 'form is temporary blah blah blah' saying comes to mind

wenger wanted him but didnt buy because we had gilberto, diarra and flamini at the time. He recommended him to wigan and the rest is history - outstanding at wigan, initially outstanding at spurs, then fell to pieces

i reckon there's still goodness under there, just gotta get it out of him somehow

whats up with harry wanting so many creative mids???????? wierd

he currently has on the books at spurs (although some have been loaned);

Bentley
Kranjcar
Huddlestone
Jenas
Bale
Lennon
Pienaar
Modric
Van der Vaart
Dos Santos
O'Hara

thats lost man, a whole eleven of attack-minded midfielders, and he still wanted charlie adam......

about 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
You can take out Bentley, Jenas, Gio and O'Hara for a start (Bentley & Jenas have actually been OK this season by all accounts - wouldn't call them creative tho).

They're attack-minded midfielders that are contracted to spurs - thats what my list was. Perhaps 'creative' is a stretch...

They should give 30 million quid to VDV's missus for being blindingly hot!!
about 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Modric out due to appendicitis.

probably miss CL game...bugger.
about 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Watching the game, we are very open again but we're playing Defoe and Crouch up front and supposedly a midfield of Wilson, Jenas, VDV and Lennon, but VDV seems to be playing where ever he feels like it.

1-0 up thanks to a cracking header from crouch, all media reports saying we are being slaughtered, don't really see it myself, it is an open game with both teams attacking a lot.

For some strange reason 'Arry has 2 keepers on our bench, surely it would be worth giving a youngster a taste in a match day squad then having a keeper who will never play - strange

Yes, but that wouldn't bait EG.

He's been in my fantasy squad for years.

How's my driving? - Whine here

He looks like he is gonna be a wandering donkey at the end of the season ..

I don't blame him, as he is a long way away from regular 1st team games for us.

He would sh*t in at some crap club like West ham.

I'm currently on an iPad and spoke into it and it brought me here. The world is a different place. I only learned how to text a few weeks ago.
oh and spurs are in for a top four battle for the third season in a row.

I'm gonna lie down.
