If it was an away game and I was Wenger I'd have left them to make their own way home.  Not because I thought anyone was specifically poor but if you manage to throw away a 2-0 lead somethings wrong and it'll make them think about what they have (or have not) done.

Wenger was fuming, and not surprisingly. The thing is, arsenal looked so blooday amazing in the first half, the only thing they lacked was more shots on target. If they'd had more shots it could'a been 3 or 4 nil by half time. I just about stopped watching, cos I thought it was all over...

We got Stallone in the changing rooms at half time!

I (yes, boo hiss) Myskyd the game and was just starting to fast forward in frustration when Bale got our first. Was sure we'd concede at the end. Ahh, but not the NEW Spurs.

I am still smiling.

Other results this weekend notwithstanding, I will be chuffed for quite a while yet.

Spurs scarf today (but will switch back to Nix tomorrow).

I propose a ceremonial closure of the Arsenal Sub forum. The day has surely come

No, those gooner anoraks need the psychological comfort more than ever now that the Emirates edifice is crumbling.

Werder Bremen on Thursday 8:45 am NZ time. Hopefully the full 3 pts to clinch a spot in the next round.

Edit: Of course I am assuming that Inter don't lose to Twente...

Yes, indeed, on to other important matters.
Huge game for us mid-week. I'm pleased as punch that Defoe is back from injury now. Things were looking altogether too blunt at the pointy end, for my liking. Hopfully Defore will be able to keep the central pair at bay, and with Bale punching holes in Werder's right flank things will be set up nicely for Rafa to roam around no-mans-land at will.

Bale cross to the far post, knocked down by the big man, Rafa to finish. Simple
over 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Or Bale could just score another hattrick.

Hmmm.

Our two form players are doubtful for tomorrow:

Possibly good to rest them anyway - still a long season to go, but would like to wrap up the 3 points.

What a time to score. There will be no bottle throwing at the Lane tonight!

Reckon I should win a plaudit for getting that idiot thrown out last night for biffing bottles

I understood his frustration at the boy at the front, but the throw was about as accurate as the NZ cricket team.

Bale only scores when he has to take on 3 defenders first!

It's very hard trying to do work at the moment!

Never seen the guardian commentary before - most amusing.

Very possible - playing Twente who lost 1-0 to Inter (and of course 4-1 to us).

Also FA Cup might also be a distraction since it will be in 2011.  We'll be needing the JJs and Krancjars as the season progresses.
