That game two years ago was a thriller and a good come back by Liverpool to win in penalty goal shootout, T'was spectacular..I'm sure the Anfeild faithfull were over joyed with it...However this year I believe Milan will get their revenge on Liverpool and raise the Chapions League trophy in Athens..I ave no doubt it will be a great match and how I wish I could be there but I believe as long as Milan is able to get Kaka the ball in space..Then there is no one that can stop them taking what is rightfully theirs.
 
But who knows..Maybe Crouch will slot some goals in and win it for The Reds...You can never be sure with a Team like Liverpool who can score goals from wide via Gerard, Pennant or drive it into the goal square for the likes of crouch who even though being a big guy has footwork that most players can only dream of having...
 
 
I guess we will just ave to wait and see.

I think the final will be another classic.... and I'm pretty sure that Rafa will start with Sissoko who will man mark Kaka. I don't rate Sissoko as a constructive midfielder but he showed what he is capable of against Barca when he totally shut down Rhonaldiniho. If he plays like he did at the Nou Camp then Liverpool have got a chance...

I'm just hoping Liverpool play decent football for a change and Milan crumble because i may overly want Liverpool to win it again but they deserve it more than Milan who are a bunch of cheating scumbags who shouldn't even be in the competition to start with!!

Three for me, and two for them.

all italian teams should not be aloud in the comp to start with. bunch of diving & cheating hacks.

Milan deserved it in '05. Gerrard Dived, got them the peno...the rest is history.

I may be putting a jinx on the team....but I can't see anyone beating Liverpool on penalties at the moment....Reina is superb , and the team are more confident taking their pens because they know he will save at least 1 or two....
Some might say our best chance will be to play for a 0-0 draw and go to pens but I'm hoping for another cliffhanger like last time...

Lol....I guess you support Chelsea then? Yes they haven't won the premiership in that long, and it's something they always try and win, but yes we have had more success in the Cups for sure, at least we have the History (which no amount of money can buy......) and the best Fans in the world.....

I realised...Seeing Liverpool fall in defeat in the Champions league after coming so close is a better pay off then death.

Liverpool Lost yesterday to Fulham...How in hell are they going to beat Ac Milan?...They can't simple as that....Two years ago AC Milan was a different team..They are a far better side than they were back then...Liverpool got no chance.

Similar performance by both teams in their respective leagues. Maybe Milan like Liverpool perform better in the champions league?

Yer, cos the same Liverpool team that played against Fulham will play against Milan...:)

I don;t like the fact we lost, but hard to compare....

....the more people that believe Liverpool have no chance the better......happy to play the underdogs role to bring in number 6 :)

Agreed we should have won, and with a bit more luck we would have, but we didn't...but the team that played there and the team that will play against Milan will be a different kettle of fish....hard to compare a loss against Fulham to a automatic loss to Milan in the final....

No doubt. As much as it kills me to say, Liverpool have a good squad but in order for them to win the final they have to comtinue playing as a team. Theyre footballs getting better every year. I remember watching Liverpool v Sheffield, i think first game this year, and it seemed like i was watching a tennis match, very boring and slow football.

Liverpool didn't need to win at fulham we play our youth team think there was something like 9 changes for that match. if we play like we did against barca we will be hard to beat.

I know you aren't purely basing Liverpool final performance in comparison to the first game of the season. Yes Liverpool probably should have lost to Sheff United at the start of the year. But what about the 4-1 thrashing of the Gunners. The 2-1 win over Barca... Liverpool have played some fantastic football this season.

Liverpool are preoccupied with the final and aren't concentrating on the EPL.  good to see Harry back, looks like he had a good game.

That 4-1 only shadows the 6-3 win that got liverpool kicked out of the Carling cup by the Gunners. I dont think comparing both Arsenal and liverpool Head to Head is your strongest point as we won that series 3-1. PLUS liverpool played a depleated Arsenal team.
 
Not to take anything away from their Win against Barcelona but i think barcelona should of done alot better, but then again liverpool held their own.
 
Liverpool, good individuals. When they play together, great team. BUT their football BORES the hell outta me. Personal opinion.

Gattuso was all over him. He does go down easy, but no one really complained about that at all, Milan fans never say they lost because Gerrard dived.

Well seeing as Ronaldo can't play i can't see him scoring. It is almost impossible for Gilardino to score 1 goal let alone 2.

Liverpool by 1-0.   AC to bottle it once again.  May need a few near misses but when AC fail to score they will lose heart and Pool will score through Gerrard with 4 mins to go!
