I have read a few reviews as well as your comments and I'm definately making the switch from FIFA Manager to Football Manager this year. I was in UK when I bought my first management game and didn't know anything about them other than hearing that one was way better than the other. When I saw FIFA and the Sega version on the shelf I just assumed FIFA was the better one because it's made by EA Sports etc etc.

FM has been and always will be better than any other management game.

Is there any online store in NZ that shows FM11 releasing on the 5th? Mighty ape is the 12th. Prefer to have a hard copy so not interested in online download.

Worst thing about this is having to lose some of my most loved saved games. A few beauties with Barcelona, Auxerre and Tottenham in particular.

Few questions about steam.

How much of your broadband allowance does it take away? Are you still able to install facepacks, logos etc into the game? Can you update it with the patches that come out?

Yeah you can still do everything... And it doesn't take any broadband (well very little) because it installs the game onto your harddrive. And everytime there is a new patch they tell you and install it automatically.

Cheers Harry, think il try steam this year then. Much cheaper and will be able to get it a week earlier. All this talk of FM is really not good for uni exams.

Love the new interaction with players and coaches. Also, I had a look at Australian clubs, and it only had 9 A-League sides... Heart and Roar missing.

Did you set Aus as a live league to load ?

If anyone wants the job let me know.  It pays okay unless you work it out as an hourly rate... and the exchange rate goes horribly wrong.

You can't play in the A-League in the demo so I'd wait for the full game before saying anything.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking so not too worried. Just interesting that they have 9 of them and two aren't there. No biggie.

I am currently playing as City. In the preseason atm. Fallon's value has dropped considerably.

How are you finding it?

I'm playing as Portsmouth atm, i'm loving the 3d mode and player interacting. I'll add more as the season progresses

Player interaction is boss. I'm considering managing Spurs and telling Gareth Bale to terminate his contract because he looks like a chimp.

I love it. Like I said, player interaction is much better. Negotiating contracts is also much better. Can't wait till full version comes out.

bought this last night thriough steam, ready to d'load when its available on nov 4......nice that they give you 20 free sega games - love the classics.

Anymore feedback on the demo?? Who is everyone playing as?

Demo is good. Has a few bugs but nothing that can't be fixed when the first patch comes out.

I've had a few games with different teams just to get a feel of it. Arsenal, Villa and Blackpool so far. Very enjoyable.
