Fantasy Football League (NFL)

I won my baseball league and am suiting up in some basketball ones too. 

Looks like I may pick up another win, barring a big MNF turnaround, strong comeback from my late in the day players

I am in one Hockey league, played 2 seasons of Baseball, and don't play Basketball :)

Though I guess that matches my actual watching of the Sports, I have GamePass & NHL Gamecenter, but barely follow the others, just a bit of the news here and there on Sportscenter, and maybe the playoffs.

Well the Steeler defence got me 6 points, so my total of 58 was at least over half of what Rammy scored (104.5).  I am going to call that a success.

lost the game by an inch. That disallowed Brown TD would've just got me over the line. 

I am now throwing out desperation trades, hoping to catch someone when they are drunk so they think "my best running back for Frankie Mac's 3rd best kicker?  Sounds like a good idea".

I am also going to the Falcons vs Lions this weekend at Wembley so that should be fun.

Tried to look to work out a trade with you but couldn't figure anything out unless you wanted to give up your best QB. 

that is because my team is so terrible there is nothing apart from Joan (Rivers) that anyone wants.

you could bite the bullet and put him on the block for a young guy and a draft pick? Would make this season a bit less fun though.

I think you just have to be like me and (for the most part) try and get pick-ups and trades for future years.  I pretty much wrote this year off after the 3rd week - although I'm still trying to be competitive each week without hurting myself going forward.

Right - after flipping and flopping on this all day, I have decided to go with Romo over Joan Rivers. Tempted to turn my phone off so I cannot open the app and change it again.

I think going with Romo this week is probably the right thing to do, he's been bloody good this year (and isn't away to Denver like Rivers).

I had a look at your team but because I think we're both in similar situations (building for the future rather than 'win now'), I'm not sure there is a trade that will benefit us both.

I'm unsure over Reggie Bush and Chris Ivory. Going to go with Bush I think...

there is a moment every week where I think "that play has just fucked me". This week was being at Wembley Stadium and watching Stafford on 3rd and 25 throw one to Tate for a 70 yard touchdown. Game over, thanks for coming

So very good week for me, had already won it before today but DeMarco certainly helped confirm the result with another 22 points today.

I'm tempted to put up a decent trade for a viable WR or RB with consistent form. Hopefulyl picking up the Bills D/ST will help with my recent terrible form in that area but too many misses with my RBs and WRs as well are costing me.

That was weird. My scorecard had Marshawn on 20+ points during the game and then dropped to 8.5 once I reloaded the page?!?
