This is awesome. I'm not watching, getting updates texted to me by my brother. Lets hope we can not give our lead away for once...

Yeaqh, hoping we keep this, I think Keat will probably be coming on in the second half. Galaxy mid field is pretty bad at the moment.Azevo2011-08-04 15:28:43

All goods, yeah, Galaxy need to figure out their midfield, Becks and Donovan have just be shut down. If the Timbers keep charging forward unnecessarily towards the end, which is usually why they end up giving away the lead, they should be fine winning this.Azevo2011-08-04 15:44:46

The astounding thing to me is the crowd they had for a mid week game and whilst in a losing streak, what dedication.

The nix would be lucky to get 5000 to a midweek game on a losing streak, let alone the numbers that turned up today! The Timbers certainly played well for the fans, lets hope they can keep playing this way!

Last two matches = draw and loss, anyone else watch em? I am wondering about Cooper these days, just doesn't seem to fit in with the Timbers, I dunno, he SHOULD be scoring a lot more goals than he is, but alas, not even.

I didn't see either of them, but it seems like the win against the Galaxy hasn't started a late season resurgence.

Hopefully they can get one up against Sporting Kansas City. I had the privilege to visit Livestrong Sporting Park while I was in the US in July, its a very nice 'soccer' stadium, and big, big ups to SKC for naming it after a not-for-profit charity.

I think we still have a possibility of skimming into the play-offs, however, winning needs to start now and wqe need to keep winning to stand a chance, draws won't cut it.

It looks like a damn nice stadium thats for sure, definitely wouldn't mind checking it out, supposedly one of the most advanced in the world?..Azevo2011-08-16 18:09:18

Game not going our way at all. 3-1 with 5 mins to play. At least the Timbers Army will have a good night out at the Power and Light district tonight...

We got drilled haha. Sounds like they'll need it after that. Aren't sporting Kansas unbeaten at home thus far?

1st goal by Kansas was a scorcher, they had a few long range goes before getting their 1st, 2nd was Timbers confused in defense from a corner kick, 3rd was well.. a bad Clarence which deflected into the goal. Our goal was alright, through some guys legs to the corner of the net, out of reach for the keeper.

Boxall starting for Vancouver today, anything less than a win for the Timbers will be a major disappointment.

First minute goal!!!

Kickoff Jewsbury played off to Perlaza who drops it for Chara and hits the top right corner. Timbers up 1-0.patrick4782011-08-21 14:12:05

only caught the highlights for this one, good win, am still skeptical on whether we can make it to the play-offs.

We'll need a nice winning streak in order for success, just don't see it happening.

watching Timbers v Chivas at the moment, the old battle axe Elliot is playing.

We're up 1-0 after an amazing header by Brunner.

Damn this hurricane, Timbers match canceled along with Philly v NE and Red Bulls v Galaxy.

Galaxy v Red Bulls would of been a good one as well.

Am excited to see Eric Alexander, our new midfielder have a go, looks a little bit like Ferrante, played for Dallas and didn't do to bad from what I can tell, only 23, so hopefully will get some good stuff out of him. Not sure about his injury record, don't think he has had anything major.

Traded for Jeremy Hall as well, no big loss to be honest.Azevo2011-09-09 12:33:21

He was, am happy with this somewhat, a win would've been nice, I think we are much more mature in decision making, I think Chabala and Palmer have helped out a lot there.

Good win today against the Revolution, anyone watch it?

Charas touch as smooth as marble, first goal was amazing from him. Was glad to see Cooper get a goal in a very long drought. Still thinking Palmer and Chabala have been massive game changers for us. Nagbe has such a future, the lad was so prominent throughout the match. Am glad the squad has finally settled down now. Less stupid mistakes and giving the ball away, was only against New England, but a result none the less.

Sitting in the wild card position at the moment. Keep it up lads.Azevo2011-09-17 20:54:37

Timbers v Houston today, anyone gonna be watching?

Last game at Jeld-Wen for the season.

Also, big game against Houstan, as they're just above us in the standings in the last play-off spot, will be good to beat em, then we'll just have DC and Salt Lake to beat to get the spot, doable, but hard.Azevo2011-10-15 11:29:22
