How's the leg cuz?
Junior teams in Gisborne are generally provided with kiwifruit-picking gloves for those that don't have a 'specialist'.
I didn't notice whether Gomes was in for Spurs today...only saw highlights but
Legs more or less fine now thanks.
Kiwi-fruit picking gloves...how innovative!

For those in Wellington...which clubs are in need of goalkeepers this season? It seems that a lot of clubs are in dire need of keepers this season, most first teams are covered but reserve teams will struggle to find them. (Yes Island Bay United needs another goalkeeper because I am so rubbish. Ha.Ha.Ha. f**k off).

Farking Hell, I thought for a second that I had somehow stumbled across the Tards forum!!!

Dickie,
Can you fire us a quick list of gloves you're prepared to hock off for cheap?
I was about to get some from prodirectsoccer.com - which looked like a great deal, until I saw the 24.95 POUND postage fee...
Personally, I want thick AS 10.5's with rolled fingers.
And some pants, in medium.
And some Puma v-Konstrukt II or III, FG, in US12.
And a courier fee to Gisborne, New Zealand.
Love from Ryan.

Thought I was getting a bit anonymous...
...and maybe trigger a mass request of stuff and force the 1000's of suppliers in NZ who read this to start bringing some decent stuff over and make it semi-readily available...
I'm just lonely. And need new gloves. And pants. And boots. F50's are rubbish, even if they're free.

And while you're at it Dickie can I get a Zinger Tower Combo Upsized with Pepsi Max for the drink?

"If you're a goal-keeper wanting to stop more goals the colour of shirt you're wearing can make all the difference. Iain Greenlees is a sports psychologist who led the study. (duration: 9′06″) "
Story on the relationshoip between colour of you shirt and the chances of saving a penalty.

Also, you have more chance of saving a penalty by standing still than by diving, apprantly. I saw an article on Stuff.co.nz a little while ago.
