Oliver Duncan looks eerily similar to the Brisbane Roar logo. Strange!

Correct me if I am wrong, but is that Leo Shin? One of our players from our age group sides going a decade back?

Tis not, but Leo Shin can be found playing for HNK in Auckland's Sunday leagues.

Sam Burfoot's goal wasn't enough to stop Marconi being knocked out of the FFA Cup

The Galacticos dominated the first fifteen minutes, taking the lead when Samuel Burfoot beat Rockdale keeper Ante Covic from 25 yards. Marconi almost had a second soon afterwards, but Marko Jesic fired wide after Pavlovic’s effort was blocked by Covic.

De Jong scored for Hakoah in last nights 3-1 FFA Cup victory, seeing them thru to the round of 32.

De Jong is scoring regularly. Is he worth a look from a Nix perspective, was one of the standouts in this years Premiership comp.

In the 12th minute a goal by Andre De Jong opened the scoring for Hakoah Sydney City East. A long ball forward reached him in the box where he squeezed in between a few of the Tigers’ defenders before turning the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

Two seasons ago for the Dragons he was good but the season just gone was not that great,

Wiily G liked to play him as a striker normally on his own, he is too light for that role and lacks out and out pace to be a threat to a well organised defence.

Is the keeper's team the Port Melbourne Sharks or the Port Melbourne Sharks?

White sharks and white sharks are both scary, albeit for different reasons.

I wonder if we would look at him again. I was a bit disappointed we let him go, seemed like we had invested a bit in him and he would have been good cover for both fullbacks.

A couple of games after an injury or two for us. IIRC, he did his ankle after stepping in a big divot in the field two or three seasons ago.

I think it was the season where we had Hogg, Timmins, Doyle and him all injured one after the other

Yeah he definitely played a few times for the first team. Looked good in the ASBP/SSP though IIRC, considering his age and the inexperience of everyone around him
