And I'm not overly sure, but I think I read somewhere that the Nix would get a small chunk of any transfer fee. Something about automatic sell-on fees. It'd only be very small mind. Same would apply to Rojas.

Would be awesome for Kosta if he got signed.....even if he could not crack the first team just playing reserve grade for a Serie A side would be incredible....or even getting loaned to a Serie B side. Fingers crossed for you Kosta....all the best!

* Kosta BARBAROUSES has been trialling with Italian Serie B side Torino and English League One leaders Brighton, where fellow All White Chris Wood has been playing.

The striker travelled to Italy and England after the All Whites' 1-1 draw with China a month ago and spent a week with each club. He has also attracted interest from clubs in Holland, Germany and Belgium after a breakthrough season.

Holland would be a good place for Kosta.

Torino is a high profile Italian club, biggest rival of Juventus. A bit of a yoyo club, but they are Serie B and could be Serie A next year.

Also, the skiing is good up there.

At one point, 10 of the 11 Italian national team starters was from Torino.

Nothing wrong with going from going from the A-League to a Serie B side.....Torino is a very well established club with a good history. Someone like Kosta would learn heaps from a few years based there. Get real!.....A-League players don't go straight to AC Milan or Inter or Juventus

He's just returned from trials with seven-time Serie A champions Torino and newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion but had to forgo trials with two Dutch Eredivisie clubs, a German Bundesliga and German second division club, plus a top division outfit in Belgium. Surely if Chris Wood can get loaned to Brighton & Hove, Barbarouses can get a contract with them.

Bit different now they are in the championship and big, tall strikers are always going to be more in demand at that League 1/Championship level than guys like Kosta.
