How long is he out for?

From a week ago. Definitely in doubt for the AWs games in a few weeks.

New Zealand international Liberato Cacace faces a “few weeks” on the sidelines after suffering a new injury, his Wrexham club have confirmed.

Sounds like Libby had a couple of decent shots and attacking passes.

Watched the extended highlights and he was very good on offense. Had a decent shot saved though he probably should have squared the ball.
Good news all around. Libby gets his home debut, and Wrexham are finally off the mark at home. Things weren't looking too good for them for a while, with mostly draws and losses.

Most importantly, let's hope he's got his hammies right. The WC will be upon us before we know it, and we need him fit

Came on as a substitute. Wrexham conceded a late goal.  Thus ends Wrexham not conceeding a goal with Libby on the pitch.

He wasn’t on the bench for the Carabao Cup? Injured or dropped?

Probably managing those dodgy hammys after missing a number of games.
Likely needs to niggle free before ready for 3 games in a week. Niche Cache.

They then made a bunch of changes for the EFL Cup fourth round where they lost 2-1 to Cardiff City. Libby Cacace wasn’t in the matchday squad – meaning he didn’t play any of their League Cup matches this season. Big game on the weekend to save him for instead, when Wrexham host the league leaders.

Libby started, Wrexham winning 3 -1 so far.  Great result if it stays like this.

Lol, finally a bit of justice.

Sakamoto has been going to deck a bit easily against Cacace, rather than contesting it. This time the ref waves play on and Wrexham power the ball ahead swiftly and score.

3-1 and a hat trick for Moore!

Edit: and now Sakamoto scores an angry second. Smashes home from the top of the box for 3-2 in the 89th minute.

How has he played?

Tbh, I woke up and put it on, but I was less than 25% awake until about 10 minutes ago!

I didn’t notice him make many or any glaring mistakes. He seemed to do everything asked of him. Gave away two free kicks when Sakamoto stopped contesting it. He seemed in decent condition. He played the full game.

Maybe it’s the Championship. I found it a bit of a hard watch until that 3rd goal.

There was one point that sort of encapsulated it where they put him away in acres of space, but Coventry were back with 7-8 in the box and there was only one red shirt. Perhaps it’s game management, but still.

I’ll probably go back and skim through and see if anything happened particularly that I missed.

It might also be the amount of football I’ve seen in warmer months in NZ, Aussie, Asia and August/May in northern hemisphere leagues and a cold night in St…Wrexham just doesn’t seem as much fun! Winter afternoons are fine…

Soccerway gave Libby a 6.5 rating.

Wrexham 3-2 winners, Coventry's first loss of the Championship season.

Win’s a win! Especially against this flying Coventry team. Clean sheet against the 3 top scorers in the competition.
