Unused sub in a 1-1 draw.

Next a big game in the Greek League for Olympiakos (4th), travelling to Thessaloníki to play last season's champs PAOK (4th). PAOK losing to Man United 2-0 in the Europa League overnight.

Stamenic on at 74 mins (3-1) in an important 3-2 win for Olympiakos. They jump over last year's champs PAOK into 3rd.
Another big game after the FIFA break, hosting AEK Athens (2nd)

It’ll be interesting to see what happens in January / Summer Transfer window with Stamenic.

Can’t Imagine his team will be overly happy with his situation at Olympiacos being unused or playing a few minutes off the bench here and there considering this is a loan move after all.

I definitely don’t see him being at Forest next season, seeing how stacked their midfield is already and the limited amount of Stamenic they’ve seen this season.

One to keep an eye out for heading into the new year.

Why is Stamenic not being played? Is it sharkhousery by Olimpiacos or is he just not as good as we hoped?

there's a few comments written by myself and others earlier in the thread - long story short, he doesn't fit tactically at all, he has been underperforming, and didn't have a preseason to get up to speed so was always on the back foot. He's still a brilliant player and this blip is not a reflection on his talent

Stamenic starts and gets 70 mins (1-0) in a 2-0 win.

His best game of the season, judging off comments online! Hope to see more of the same going forward as he gets comfortable

Stamenic a yellow & a full game in a 1-1 draw.
1st of 2 legs in Cup tie.

Good to see him back in favour it seems, though likely some rotation happening with a heavy schedule going on.

Cup quarter final, 1st leg. Olympiakos travel to Panathinaikos.
Winner will play AEK Athens in the semis.

Stamenic may currently be only a bit part player in Athens, but he remains in line for 3 consecutive league and cup doubles in 3 different countries.

Olympiakos are to win the Cup, it will be the hard route.
Panathinaikos 3rd in the Superliga and AEK Athens 2nd.

Really Hope Marko has a strong second half of the season. How great would it be for him to return to play for this flying Forest side in Europe next season!
