It’s better than the A league in that there are a lot more games and he should get plenty of football into his legs. He should be starting imo. It also won’t hurt to be playing for a weaker team before playing for the AWs at a WC!

He dosnt have to look very far he told me the talent of some of the young ones in his academy is exceptional.
It's almost as if upsetting your manager so much he ostracises you, turning down offers from other clubs, doing nothing for 6 months, then larking about in Bali isn't the best preparation for a League One relegation battle.....
Came on at 67 minutes as part of a quadruple change as Posh chased the game from 1-0 down. Played in an advanced right side midfield role. Fairly involved with a good cross and decent through ball. Posh equalised in the 91st minute for their first point of the season, but still remain bottom of the table. The mighty Bantams remain unbeaten. Peterborough's struggles might mean Garbett could play a bigger part as their manager looks for solutions. But he won't like the fact that the Radio L666ds commentator called him Australian.

No clue, it's certainly not an affluent area. Pretty sure it's consistently one of the worst places in England in terms of poverty and the varying statistics that tend to accompany that (Crime, drugs, etc).
Come to think of it, not many of our Kiwis in the UK are in particularly nice places: Peterborough, Newport, Burslem are all pretty grim. Swansea and Wrexham aren't that great. I've got a mate from Scotland who wouldn't recommend Motherwell.

As a Charlton supporter, I'm chuffed to see Matt lining up alongside Kyrell Lisbie, son of former Charlton striker Kevin Lisbie who played more than 100 games for the Addicks in their Premier League years 1998-2007. His greatest moment was a hat-trick against Liverpool in 2003 in a 3-2 win. Kyrell's dad is a regular on Charlton TV panel discussions and was recently talking about his sons and their careers. Kyrell has a twin brother Kyreece and they played for the same clubs until recently, including a stint as teenagers playing alongisde their dad, Kevin at Cray Valley Paper Mills at the end of his playing career. Both brothers played for Tommy Smith's new club Braintree Town last season.

London, Birmingham and Glasgow are all worse cities, they just happen to have nice areas.
Peterborough is really not that bad. It's similar to Palmerston North. Not much going on.
