Saw 77 new posts, thought weemac had signed, got excited, then.........

Lets just say there's a 50% chance I waded through 77 posts of balls, c*nts and arses

The other 50% is people saying they came in here thinking there was news but instead of found posts of balls c*nts or arses

Cameron Slater is holding up the transfer because he's mates with the CCM owners.

From: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=11308939

It remains to be seen if Michael McGlinchey will be one of those players as his lengthy contract saga continues to play out with no end in sight.

The Central Coast Mariners and the Phoenix both believe they have him under contract but the matter is in arbitration.

"There's no developments yet," Merrick said.

McGlinchey was named in the New Zealand Select XI to meet the Phoenix in Taupo on Sunday but Merrick wasn't sure if the All White would lace his boots up this weekend.

'I'm not sure if he's allowed to play or not."

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

what would stop him turning out for New Zealand A - are they saying CCM reserve the right not to release him for the game - surely that is less awkward than the fact he has been in Wellington for the past 10 weeks training.....

the central coast melodramas are killing me - get over it and release him FFS

If CCM want to kick up a fuss about him playing for the Phoenix then so be it. Him playing for NZA - seriously not cool.

I still like CCM, they've achieved a lot for such a small club and never try to claim themselves as being the most important club in the comp. I dont think i could despise anyone more than the Tards. Sydney FC arent far behind though

At least it's not Ernie picking Wee Mac to play for the AWs.

Could CCM veto him from playing for the national team, even if they wanted to?

I'm not sure exactly what the rules are regarding national team training camps and friendlies. The only time I am aware they have to release him is for international friendlies on designated FIFA windows and at times before major competitions. However since CCM are not paying him and he is officially out on loan, I don't see what they can possibly do.

Kinda given how this has dragged on poor weeJudas must be tied of it all so I tho I should end the week with an song reflecting the mood ….

I choose a song by Dylan, sung at the farewell concert of the band [argued by many as the best backing group of all time] they invited many of their friends … so on the stage are the following….

Bob Dylan,Neil Young,Emmylou Harris,Ringo Starr,Ronnie Hawkins,Dr. John,Joni Mitchell,Van Morrison,Muddy Waters,Ronnie Wood,Neil Diamond,Bobby Charles,Paul Butterfield, andEric Clapton.

Plus the members of the band—Rick Danko, Levon Helm , Garth Hudson,Richard Manuel and, Robbie Robertson

The song is called “” I Shall be Released “””” hope you enjoy ..

They are just doing what any professional outfit should do - why should they make it easier for one of their competitors?

What goes around comes around. They'll get theirs sooner or later.

Really?  If the situation was reversed, do you think we would have walked away from the situation immediately?

Actually with us, we probably would have.
