Mls is so garbage. That game was pants.

Bit harsh to judge the whole league on one game.Would hate someone to pass judgement on the quality of the A-league after watching the Phoenix v Glory Yes the game was average.Toronto very poor last year.Vancouver better but not top rated. Also early season.

full time 2-1

Nelsen off the mark. They just kept getting deeper and deeper, the goal always seemed to be coming. Thought SKC would get a late equaliser.

Next game is against Montreal at 4:30pm 16th March so 10:30am NZ time on the 17th.

Yes I will be at the olympic stadium next week. It should be a huge attendance close to 40000 persons: so far 30000 seats have been sold and a lot of toronto fans will be coming to montreal

Not from what I saw. They were lucky to not squander that 2 goal lead. It will be interesting to see how the team evolves under Ryan. Atm it isn't great football but should get the results needed.

First game was straight of Big Sam's Big Book of Long Ball Football. Only saw the 2nd half of the second and they were sitting back defending a 2 goal lead. But sounds like that is what Toronto needs atm.

I'd rather win ugly than lose pretty.

He also has a team not of his own making, so assuming he lasts the year, i think next year will be his first real opportunity to put his actual game philosophy into practice, by recruiting players who match that style.

He has a bit of work ahead of him. Needs to hold a UEFA Pro licence or equivalent.

1st half all in favour of montreal and 2nd half for toronto. The exit of alessandro nesta had a bad effect on montreal defense who was lucky to escape with the win

Love this comment.“I used to love them when I was a player. Now I hate them. Hopefully they come back healthy and have not played that much, in all honesty,”

That link doesn't work, it just comes back to YF page.  This link here works http://www.torontofc.ca/news/2013/03/nelsen-eager-resume-mls-schedule

Some of the internet warriors out there still blow me away with their negative comments about Nelsen.  The two comments at the bottom of the article if you're interested.

Toronto v Dallas at 8am Sunday. Bound to be a stream available to watch it.

Dallas winning 1-0 at HT. Toronto has nothing going forward, don't think they even had a shot yet. Goal came from a scramble in the box after free kick, keeper came for it and didn't get close.
