only 6 points separating jimmie johnson and second place denny hamlin in the nascar championship with only 4 races remaining with kevin harvick only another 35 points behind, good stuff

Youngest Formula 1 World Champion. How old was lewis hamilton when he won?

Jimmie Johnson won his 5th consecutive NASCAR title today

man that's impressive, the guy is so clinical when it comes to the Chase

Greg Murphy handed a lifeline today. Will be driving for Kelly Racing next year replacing Jason Bargwanna who is stepping in for Jason Richards at Team BOC while he recovers from his surgery.
Could be another mediocre year for Murph as he'll have the 3rd car at KR.

F1 driver Robert Kubica was seriously hurt in a rally crash, multiple fractures. ouch. im guessing his F1 team are none to pleased. may have an effect on f1 drivers being allowed to drive in other forms of motor sport whilst still under contract

V8 Supercars starts again this weekend. Man that has come round fast. Coverage is on at 10-00am Sunday morning as well so will be good to watch that before heading off to the Nix game.

Yeah but similar situation with Mark Webber breaking his leg in a cycling event. Renault stated here they do not want to robot their drivers and rallying was a passion of Kubica's. Major blow though Kubica is class, Nick Heidfield a possible replacement.

Indeed. Best racing since Whincup and Van Cheesburger at Gold Coast last year. Nose to tail for about 6 laps.

Is this what you would expect? Anyway I would expect F1 cars to be much better than a V8 "Super-car".

indycars start this weekend at st pete. should be an awesome season, hoping for scotty dixon to get off to a better start than last year. imo hes the best driver in the circuit, let down last year by torrid luck and poor car/pit performance
27 Mar 01:56 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
scott dixon starting 3rd for the opening race of the indycars, its on live tommorow at 5am on ss2.

haydon padon is doing bloody well in the rally of portugal, 11th overall after 2 days. absolutely cleaning up the pwrc

and anyone else looking forward to the f1 tonight? vettel looks untouchable . cant wait for the race

Seb was pretty flawless, too fast in qualifying. Great start in the GP, Lewis was gaining on him so he pitted came out faster and strategy paid off from there as he cruised. Happy not to see Alonso on the podium, Petrov (Alonso's favourite driver, also Kubica's too, haha) kept him out. Interesting to see Perez do well too, on one stop.

got up at 5am to watch the indycars and see how scott dixon goes and he gets taken out first corner of the first lap. marco andretti being far too eager and not driving smart at all. bloody f**ked off with that
27 Mar 19:00 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
great to see paddon doing so well

awesome start by heidfeld
11 Apr 00:07 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
nice win by vettel, he will be tough to beat for the title this year, nice 3rd place also by heidfeld.

scott dixon finished 2nd this morning behind will power at alabama. moves him to fourth in the standings after his troubles in the first race. needs to win some races and hope a bit of the bad luck hes had over the past 12 months can rub off on power or franchitti

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Brilliant racing in the Chinese Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton amazing
3 stop strategy was the right one.

Also good stuff from Webber up 15.

Win number 2 for Jason Bright in the V8's yesterday. Team BOC definitely punching above its weight. Pretty sure he is the only driver apart from Jamie Whincup to have won more than 2 races this championship. Actually, Tander might have won 2.

Mitch Evans, racing GP3 and won (race one) in Catalunya. Be great to see him progress to F1, would love to have a New Zealander in there. Brendon Hartley has kind of moved to the way side. Mitch is a huge prospect: youngest GP3 race winner, youngest New Zealand GP Champ. Has real pedigree as a race driver. Still only 16 too.

Also, Seb still dominating. Lewis raced another good race. Nick Heidfeld was Kamui Kobayashi like in passing his way forward. Was disappointing to see so much lapping.. everyone became a back marker and Karthakayen was lapped a ridiculous amount of times. Happy to see Fernando drop off too.

huge weekend for motorsport. Monaco, Indy, Coca cola 600. not to mention the rally argentina where hayden padon is again doing very very well

really pumped for the Indy 500 tomorrow morning. guna be an early start with coverage beginning at 330am. feeling ok about dixons chances. been up at the top or near to it all month so hoping for a huge day for him
30 May 00:02 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
wow what a dramatic finish to the 500. hilderbrand must be feeling absolutely gutted. beyond consolation i would think. when both patrick and baguette had to pit late i thought it would be dario that took the checkers. when he faltered and hilderbrand crashed i really thought scotty would have been next in line but alas his last run wasnt the best.

shame for dixon as he had the best car all day. at least power, castroneves and franchitti didt finish too high either so the championship is still open

30 May 03:23 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
paddon wins PWRC argentina and comes in 9th overall. top stuff

give this man a WRC drive

13 Jun 00:28 · edited 09 Sep 05:24
2 good second place finishes for dixon in the latest round of the indy cars. there was a new format, 2 races of half distance and half points. qualifying determined the starting positions for the first race and they had a blind draw for the second race where each driver effectively picked a starting position out of a hat.

bloody stupid cos dixon picked 18th and franchitti picked 28th. will power picked 3rd. power won, dixon came second which was a bloody good drive and franchitti came 7th which was also a hell of a drive. whats stupid is that the championship could very well be decided on a random draw of luck, not driving ability.

was really good to see wade cunningham racing also. 2 kiwis in the premier american open wheel racing series is a good effort
