This.

I smile every time he fails because as far as i'm concerned he shouldn't be anywhere near the team.

Three for me, and two for them.

what a disappointing game. we seem so content to potter along hitting 4 singles an over when the required rate is up around 8. so frustrating to watch.

funniest part of the game yesterday was these 2 guys standing behind sonny shaw tapping him on the back with one of those blow up things you see at the netball. it was childish i know but seeing how worked up he was getting was priceless. the only chanting i heard was a "go home sonny" chant

Cricket stadium security What a joke

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I hate the mexican wave and don't take part, but its no reason to kick someone out. This kind of crap and the food/liquid restrictions are why people stop going.

Cricket administrators need to remember that crowds are there for the whole day - they can't treat people like they are going to a rugby/T20 game for a couple of hours.aitkenmike2011-02-05 13:13:45

If you're going to slog it in 25th over, why not just take powerplay?

RE Mexican wave...stupid. Why don't they kick those out who throw things in the air rather than stopping people having fun.

Allegedly

Just those you see. Set an example.

Or we could just sit there like good patrons, legs crossed, arms folded clapping politely.

The basin has become bad, there used to be a bit if atmosphere, now the moment someone makes any noise they're kicked out.

Last time I went to an ODI at Eden Park me and my mate were two of about 100 left in the terraces (RIP) by the end of the game. The stands were packed at the start. Sure, kick out people who are starting fights and being arseholes, but people were getting kicked out for anything.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/cricket/4637217/Black-Cap-allegedly-involved-in-in-flight-incident

My guess for tomorrow's headline: "Blackcap Tim Southee joins Mile High Club"

The article just changed to mention Tim Southee, it didn't when I read it. I just knew it would have been no one else. TopLeft072011-02-09 16:16:34

From Wiki:

On the 9th of February 2011, while en route to the cricket world cup in India on a flight from Sydney to Dubai, it is alleged that Southee met a first class female passenger (rumoured to be the pilot's daughter) at the bar of the A380 and soon retired to her first class dwellings and proceeded to engage in "lewd" sexual behaviour. He is probably going to get a telling off in public, but a high five in the locker room. A witness was described as saying " I didnt see penetration but it was pretty obvious what was happening" Which says great things for the leg room in the Emirates First Class Section & also the thickness of the blankets used to construct a sex tent with

Completely agree, it's just sex and I doubt she was screaming "no!!, no!!, no!!"

I'd be giving him a high five in the locker room.

Haha brilliant. I now have to make a sex tent one day, it's just gone on the bucket list.

"Vaughan also confirmed that at this stage no player has been sent home."

Why would anyone be sent home for engaging in (i'm assuming) consensual sex (or other activities)?
