Yeah we're sh*t. Take Taylor for example, all the talent in the world but he hasn't developed his game and pushed on. A lot of other blackcaps have a similar story, some been and gone and some still being selected.

I doubt it.

They only have to push it around and play safe to win. It was a crucial toss to win really, hard to set a decent target on a pitch like that. Not that I'm defending our performance, I just get annoyed at what some of those sub-continent cowboys serve up for international cricket.

im constantly thinking "are we just not as good as we think we are".

but i really feel that in ryder, taylor, guptill and bmac we have some real quality batsmen. just so so hard to watchn them fail more often than not. whats worse is they all seem to fail togeher. if only one of our top 5 got a score of 75+ and then others chipped in we would be alot better off. thats a fairly obvious point i know. im just having a wee rant.

Man those two games last night were a bad advertisement for the minnows and the World Cup. Such a shame as i quite like the Dutch (they have a Kiwi born captain after all) and thought they would at least put up a fight against the Windies. Hopefully Ireland can wave the associate flag because sadly the other three are a bit behind the 8 ball (except for the odd brilliance from ten Doeschate).

A bit concerned about the upcoming game with Zimbabwe - they have some decent spinners, and their batting didn't look totally crap.

Just hope we don't screw this one up.
