What the Jimmy White are you on about, we're nearly snookered but I'm sure like the Phoenix, we will rise out of a fire from the ashes. (cue either Cricket puns, Snooker puns or Phoenix puns)

Anyway im a bit out of pocket tonight so i cant get my Reardon to  the pub to help cushion the blow!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

KJ, you off down to the pub to sink a black Russian, a few reds (wine), couple of pints of Lion Brown & a pink flamingo (i think that's a cocktail, not too sure what that score adds up to)?

You nearly blue that one. I'm green with envy, you avoided being snookered!

It's (The)Crucible that we need to get back into the frame of things.  This weeks rest is vital to sort things out before playing the CCM.

Oops... missed a load of puns through a few weeks off. My wife billiard me into moving house which took up some time.

Will have to cushion my re-entry into the thread by showing my pun-making stripes haven't faded. I have a small pool of table-sport related puns...

Stevo, Like most American's it's all wind and no real substance having been downgraded. Mind you, All wind could also describe our very own politicians but as you've decided on America we'll try and stir up a dust storm for you!

I've had a short rest but am in the right frame of mind to get the maximum number of puns out of this snooker theme as possible.

What happened? Suddenly this thread's half-way down the second page . The snooker puns have gone to pot, methinks. Time for a new topic?

I see Ussain Bolted home overnight to win the 100m in Brussels overnight. Powell was leading until the last 15m, but at the moment it doesn't look Asafa mere mortal such as him could come anywhere near Bolt.

We'd have to vote on that one. No flakey Green party votes either. This is not going to turn into a green thread nor are we going to charge anyone for their emissions. Free speech and all that!!

You'll have to Russell (Norman) up some support to (Mike) Ward off the green party punfest now LG! Maybe you should try get the moderators to Locke it! After all, if you don't act soon, we'll be able to FitzSimon's green related puns in here as well.

Tried to think of a nandor pun but couldn't... anyne else?

We can show the (Nan)dor out to the Greens this elections hopefully.  We don't want any Green Jenettics (Fitzsimons) mutating inside the debating chamber.

TV1 news started their news item on nude beaches on the Kapiti Coast at Peka Peka   Good choice of location name for the item.

On a serious note & this could be another thread, I heard on the radio that the Green Party is against abolishing gangs!!  Typical !!

The lights were bright for Nandor? Abbasolutely terrible I know...
Nice to see nude beaches getting some exposure, though I can see the supporters thrust into some mounting difficulties. I hope the council isn't too hard-on them. As to abolishing gangs.. wouldn't that just make them resort to disorganised crime?

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

YF maybe more patched than the MM &/or BP, at least YF members made the right choices in life.

Right choices? I don't see YF as being of the right.

Are you defending MM & BP?  They're both scum along with all the other gangs (White, Asian etc) who are involved in criminal activities.
