Matt and Kim live. f**kING FANBLOODYTASTIC.

Elder statesmen of this website cannot talk to me about bands they saw and pretend those gigs were better. Matt compared the show to the most mental of their ones back in Brooklyn, and a New Yorker friend of mine said our crowd was even more hardcore than she had seen back home.

I'm just waiting for God to seal his approval on that gig as the best of all time. Bar none.

Not really - power/epic metal. Blind Guardian's stuff is heavily influenced by Tolkien - lots of crap about elves and that sort of stuff. Not a bad listen, but can't seriosuly be compared to the likes of Emperor/Immortal/Marduk/Mayhem, etc.

I was walking past the telecom shop on the quay this morning and the Edge were giving away heaps of sh*te, whoever #5 was won a phone (Nokia) as I went past!

Standard sort of marketing ploy that Vodafone and Telecom use when the launch new things.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.
