Two great match ups this week that could blow the table apart a bit...
Petone Armanis v Lower Hutt City
Island Bay United v Douglas Villa
Four good sides!

Marist 2 Karori 0

A well contested game at Kilbirnie Park. Thankfully for us, nerves were eased about 20 minutes into the game, with a clinical header at the far post.

Really positive result for us and after two really productive training sessions during the week, we put in probably our best performance of the season.  Still plenty to work on, but we are hoping to get into some championship form come the second half of the season, and who knows where things will end up :)

Well contested game Karori, two good battles v you guys this year!

Will be interesting to see when Cap Footy reschedule the postponed games for....

Prediction for weekend:

Karori Barcodes v Kapiti Coast Utd
Douglas Villa v Marist - Marist
Lower Hutt City v Island Bay United
Paekakariki v Petone Armanis
North Wellington v Petone

A beautiful day is on the cards, in Masterton, tomorrow. So, only the Villa v Marist clash should escape the pure mince weather.

Ya beauty!

Just spoke to the Game Development Manager at Capital Football, and Cap 3 is ON! He said that we should double check their website tonight, but at the moment we are on.

LH vs Island Bay, Both teams played well in the wet conditions, some easy goals on both ends. Lower hutt just made better use of the ball.

Attack is the only form of defense I know!

I played for the Barcodes on the weekend and they have a decent unit. Would think they would push any team on their day. probably a lot of teams of a similar level I guess

I agree with Andy's predictions, apart from the Armanis v North Wgtn game. The Petone outfit should bounce back from last weeks six-goal drubbing to claim all three points.

Also, if Feverish (who is a class player) is not playing for Karori then their game against Petone will end with a share of the spoils.

I agree, tough week for all.... I reckon KCU might get up this week in the bottom of the table clash.

Have to agree that KCU should win since Petone seem to be short on numbers every week and playing away wont help them..

Not likely. P3 are in rebuilding mode for their usual late season run up the table. Similar to last season except with less players.

Don't think their will be any upsets this weekend, but in the mud you can never tell!

Oh Braveheart, well you're definitely not Bravehead! Definitely heart ruling head here me thinks.

Marist to be Paekakariki? You're dreaming...

(yes I am a Marist old boy, and I'd be happy to be proved wrong... but I just can't see it).

This fixture was a draw last time round, why do you not give Marist a chance?

That day paekock were short off players and since then paekak have signed a couple of half decent players. Also paekak should have won that game!

Captain fantastic was not playing! Enough said!
Also had an outfield player in goal which didnt help us much!
Will be interesting to see todays result, hoping for an upset...
