just a couple of updates on a couple of teams. North Wellington have been training since last year and seem to have a good outfit could do a couple better this season. Wainuiomata have got a couple of new players so they could be a dark horse in the league.

will be between north wellington/bnu if either team has retained their players. stokes valley will finish last, wainui mid table.

I can see Marist coming straight back up, they were a bit stiff last year on many occasions.

Have lost their foreigners to the Oranje though.  God I've just realise we'll have a game at Kilbirnie Park.  F*ck.

yeah, depends on who BNU have kept, though I've heard their team has disbanded a bit, same as stokes valley from what I'm hearing have lost alot of players. I'd like to go out and say North Wellington for the win, but to be honest I actually didn't rate their team that highly, they played very well but didn't have that many fantastic players, just a very gritty team spirit. Olympic could cause upset if they for once in their club history manage not to get at least one player a game sent off.

Marist may struggle a little bit early, number of changes with players being picked up by other clubs etc (as often happens after going down a division!).

Though of course they'll be fighting hard to get back up

Does anyone know what going to happen with Karori this year? Are the dreamers being promoted to capital 1 and the youngsters relegated? Or are they keeping things the way they are

Does anyone have the complete Cap One draw?

What I don't get is why are we Marist playing on Wakefield 2 (after another game). And there is only one Capital 4 team playing on Wakefield 1 all day.

Is wakefiled 2 secretly better?

if you are playing for Marist against BNU, then you are on Wakefield No 2 bc it is BNU's home ground.

BNU  0 - 0  MW
NW  1 - 2  IBU
PET  4 - 1  WAI
WK  1 - 5  WO
WU  3 - 2  SV

Fuck this stupid game

North Welly will be smarting after that result. And a massive first win for Olympic against the 'new' Karori team.

Marist - BNU - Yesh, i could have taken my deck chair and book and sat in goal for Marist. The most danger come from a couple of interesting back passes. Not gonna say we dominated and had 50 shots, but BNU would be a lot more happy with the result then us.
Someone would have had to stab someone to have been booked, I know it's hard being a ref, but when you blow for the 5th free kick against a guy, cmon get a freaking card out!

Thought United's Dreamers might go okay but apparently most of them have fled to Rogers' Masters 4 team.

I get all these Dreamers teams so confused.

Shut up Dave.

Good decision this afternoon by the way.  Very good.

Great win for us (IBU) over North Wellington.

Went 1 nil down about 35 mins in from a (bullsh*t) free kick on the edge of the box that took an unlucky deflection and sailed in at the far post.

Faught well and came back with 2 goals in the second half.  One a beauty strike from outside the box and a late one on one with the keeper resulting in a deft chip.

Don't really think we were too troubled, so encouraging stuff for the season ahead (for the firsts also, who won 1 nil over Tawa).

I think you will find that both teams  have players away at a tournament in Auckland.
In fact I would say at least half of the Stokes Valley team will be away at that tournament

Solid result again for Marist this week, similar to last week against BNU, cept this time we managed to score!

Only had to save one real shot in anger (a great free kick, which my team told me was going wide, sods).

Greenie had a great run on for Karori in the second half and managed to abuse everyone and thing cept the grass me thinks
